    description:
Worker is a file-manager exclusive for X based on the famous
filemanager "DirectoryOpus" on the AmigaOS. It is configurable on the
fly without restarting Worker. Any extern program can be easily
integrated in the GUI, including a button and a hotkey. Worker uses
    real file-recognition on file-content AND/OR file-ending, where each
file-type can get an own action.

    changes:
This release fixes 2 critical errors in colorhandling and
fast-copymode, and fixes minor bugs when copying in a symlinked
directory and in catalog-loading. It also features corrected catalog
templates, a french catalog, and an example-config.

    description:
fireparse is a Perl script that emails a report of all packets that
have been logged by the kernel's iptables packet filtering subsystem.
The report includes source and destination ports, direction, logged
packet count, iptables rules, and fully resolved host names (if
available). The report can be formatted as plain text or as a colored
HTML table. fireparse also moves all iptable entries from your syslog
file into a second message file so that other syslog entries are more
easily noticed and filtered. HTML output can also be sent to a dated
    file.

    changes:
This version supports the new netfilter/iptables packet filter logging
included in Linux kernel v2.4.x. It includes v1.9 for ipchains users.

standards for Makefile variables and targets. Automake is a Perl
script. The input files are called Makefile.am. The output files are
called Makefile.in; They are intended for use with Autoconf. Automake
requires certain things to be done in your configure.in. This package
also includes the "aclocal" program. aclocal is a program to generate
an 'aclocal.m4' based on the contents of 'configure.in'. It is useful
as an extensible, maintainable mechanism for augmenting autoconf.

SQmaiL is a mail reader for GNOME that stores all its mail in a MySQL
database. This makes it blazingly fast for very large (>10000 message)
mail databases. It supports hierarchical vfolders based on SQL queries,
so you can have your mail automatically categorized based on
arbitrarily complex SQL expressions. It has excellent MIME support on
both incoming and outgoing mail. Mail can be fetched from local spool
files and POP servers. The user interface is customizable with Glade,
and the program itself is easily extensible with Python. Some command
line utilities allowing access to the mail database without X are
    available.

The Linux Intrusion Detection System (LIDS) is a patch which enhances
the kernel's security by implementing a reference monitor and Mandatory
Access Control (MAC). When it is in effect, chosen file access, all
system/network administration operations, any capability use, raw
device, memory, and I/O access can be made impossible even for root.
You can define which programs can access specific files. It uses and
extends the system capabilities bounding set to control the whole
system and adds some network and filesystem security features to the
kernel to enhance the security. You can finely tune the security
protections online, hide sensitive processes, receive security alerts
    through the network, and more.

    description:
Alzabo is a two-fold program. Its first function is as a data modelling
tool. Through either a schema creation interface or a custom Perl
program, it allows a programmer to create a set of schema, table,
column, etc. objects that represent a data model. Alzabo is also
capable of reverse engineering an existing data model. Its second
function is as a RDBMS to object mapping system. Once you have created
a schema, you can use Alzabo classes to access its data. These classes
offer a low level interface to common operations such as SQL SELECT,
    INSERT, DELETE, and UPDATE commands.

    description:
integrit is an alternative to file integrity verification programs like
tripwire and aide. It helps you determine whether an intruder has
modified a computer system. integrit's major advantages are a small
memory footprint and simplicity. It works by creating a database that
is a snapshot of the most essential parts of your computer system. You
put the database somewhere safe, and you can then use it to make sure
that no one has made any illicit modifications to the computer system.
In the case of a break in, you know exactly which files have been
    modified, added, or removed.

    changes:
In integrit version 1.04, hashtbl has become a standalone library that
users can use in any application. Also, the autoconf tests now make
sure that the user can link statically against required libraries.
