    description:
The Market Analysis System (MAS) is a software application that
provides tools for technical analysis of financial markets, including
stock charting and automated generation of buy and sell signals. The
MAS server was developed in Eiffel. The MAS GUI client was developed in
    Java.

    changes:
GUI changes: Support for intraday data. Screen layout improvements:
Bars in the right and bottom margins (and the date and numeric
reference values moved to within these bars to clean up the clutter
they were causing when they were inside the graph), and display of
reference values for indicators in the bottom right margin; values for
the last indicator selected are displayed. Server changes: Database
capability for the Linux version (MAS can now obtain its market data
from a database instead of from files, on both Linux and Windows),
extended validation of input data to be much more robust, a strict
checking option to specify that all records with errors are to be
discarded, capability to handle intraday data (the server can now
    produce 10-, 15-, 20-, 30-minute, and hourly data from 5-minute data
and the same set plus 2-minute data from 1-minute data), and an
improved commandline interface for adding, editing, and removing
technical indicators, market analyzers, and market event registrants.

and object database management, including support for transient and
persistent DOM, XPath, XPointer, XLink, XSLT, RDF, XInclude, and more.

    changes:
General changes: documentation updates and consolidation, a domlette
reader option to force 8-bit DOM strings even in Python 2.0, XInclude,
and many Python 1.5.2 and 2.0 compatibility fixes, bugfixes, and
optimizations. In DOM: a native sgmlop reader, proper SAX2 support for
the reader, and an update to the 2000-11-13 level 2 recommendation. In
DbDom: implementation of cloneNode and document fragments. In RDF:
removeAll added to Model. In XPath: extension functions: evaluate,
distinct, split, range, if, and find. In XSLT: unparsed-entity-uri, a
more thorough test harness, restricted HTML writer output which is
allowed as a security tool, and support for source docs from stdin on
the 4xslt commandline. The Reader and URI handler APIs have been
organized to allow easier customizations. PyXML (0.6.3 + fixes) is now
    built in.

system for Linux. GFS cluster nodes physically share the same storage
by means of Fibre Channel or shared SCSI devices. The file system
appears to be local on each node and GFS synchronizes file access
across the cluster. GFS is fully symmetric, meaning that all nodes are
equal and there is no server which may be a bottleneck or single point
of failure. GFS uses read and write caching while maintaining full UNIX
file system semantics. GFS supports journaling, recovery from client
    failures, and many other features.

This is the first stable release of GFS; there are no known bugs that
are not documented in the Release Notes.

    description:
MysqlTool provides a Web interface for managing one or more MySQL
server installations. Database schema is shown in a hierarchical tree
for a quick view of tables and columns. MysqlTool supports most
administration functions such as GRANT, REVOKE, CREATE, ALTER, and SHOW
as well as table browsing and individual record editing. It is written
    entirely in Perl.

    changes:
A fix for a bug where databases weren't being displayed for MySQL
server versions < 3.23, removal of the dependancy on SQL::Statement,
ability for MysqlTool configuration to handle blank root usernames and
passwords, and the addition of $MysqlTool::query_frame_heightto the
configuration to make it easier to change the query frame height. Also,
in viewing query results, if the number of primary key fields equals
the number of fields in the table the edit link is no longer shown.

outperforms all existing Java interpreters (often by more than an order
of magnitude). In addition, SISC is a complete implementation of the
language. The entire R5RS Scheme standard is supported, with no

automatically allocates uid/gid, performs all operations online,
automatically generates a manager profile for new databases, migrates

    description:
multiCD provides an easy way to backup a large number of files to
multiple CDs. Give multiCD the files/directories you want backed up and
it will create as many CDs as it needs to, prompting the user to put in
a new disc whenever needed. It can be configured to run in a
multi-threading mode, where it will burn one image to a disc while it
is copying files to another image. This feature can be disabled for
    slower machines.

    changes:
This release fixes one major bug, a few minor bugs, and added some new
    features.

    description:
Match is designed to match up items with two-dimensional coordinates
(x, y) from two different lists. The lists may differ by an arbitrary
translation, rotation, and scaling. The user may choose a simple linear
translation, or include quadratic or cubic distortion terms. The
package was designed to match lists of stars, and so includes auxiliary
programs to project spherical coordinates onto a tangent plane, and to
    invert the projection.

    changes:
The user now has more control over the main loop in which the program
searches for a solution: one can now place a hard limit on the number
of iterations, or specify a target for the size of the residuals.

MESS is the Multi Emulator Super System. It can emulate a variety of

the src/unix tree that were in the MESS CVS, commented out the call to
osd_dirty_merge(), menu colors no longer fade when you pause a game,
xmess compiles again without having to uncomment VLM5030 in
src/mess.mak, make -f <makefile> tools should work again, a possible
fix for a problem with the DGA target on ATI Rage Mobility which caused
a switch to fullscreen mode to not change the resolution, and
