About: Braa is a tool for making SNMP queries. It is able to query
hundreds or thousands of hosts simultaneously, while being completely
single-threaded. It does not need any SNMP libraries, as it is equipped
with its own SNMP engine. However, it's good to have a complete SNMP
package including "snmptranslate" installed somewhere, because for speed
reasons, there is no ASN.1 parser in Braa, and all the SNMP OIDs need to
be specified numerically.

About: The Cluster Infrastructure (CI) for Linux extends the Cluster
Membership and Internode Communication Subsystems from HP's NonStop
Clusters for Unixware code base. It also provides the basis for the SSI

Changes: The source code has been completely reorganized. There is a
different procedure for installing, which is documented in INSTALL.
SIGCLUSTER has been removed. Applications can now register any signal to
receive cluster events. This is done via the
cluster_events_register_signal() call in libcluster. The hard limit on
out-of-line data in ICS has been eliminated. A variety of ICS bugs were
fixed. This includes fixes for a node monitor starvation problem, as
well as races in initialization/failover. Locking in nsc_async mechanism
was improved. More support was added for the OpenSSI project.

About: E2tools is a simple set of utilities for reading, writing, and
manipulating files in an ext2/ext3 filesystem. Similar in concept to
mtools, they are designed for machines that don't have ext2 support, but
can also be used on Linux machines to read or write to disk images and
floppies without having to mount them.

About: ECe is another clone of the ncurses-based editor that comes with
the Midnight Commander (cooledit). Its main feature is simplicity. You
don't have to learn lots of key shortcuts; in order to write text, you
just have to type it on the keyboard. While preserving all the original
cooledit features (like syntax highlighting or gpm mouse support), ECe
offers a few useful enhancements: the ability to work with many files,
reconfigurable keys and menus, tab-completion in file dialogs,
friendlier default color scheme, and more.

attempts). A template_sample.php file was added. A bug with templates

Changes: This release introduces significant new features for processing

fixes bugs in the handling of XML namespaces. Also, XPath queries are now

About: ps-watcher periodically a gets a list of process names via ps. A
configuration file specifies a list of Perl regular-expression patterns to
match the processes against. For each match, a Perl expression specified
for that pattern is evaluated. The evaluated expression can refer to
variables which are set by ps and pertain to the matched process(es),
including the amount memory consumed by the process, or the total elapsed
time. If the Perl expression for a matched pattern evaluates true, then an
action can be run such as killing the program, restarting it, or mailing
an alert.

Changes: In this version, a provision was added for ps's which return
multiple lines of output. (Solaris does this for its LWP processes). This
should now build in a read-only source tree. Sample files (formerly only
in CVS) are now part of distribution.

About: The Python SAP RFC module enables programming remote function calls

About: WyCode is a code analyzer that parses PHP code to extract all the
queries from scripts (logically grouped in product(s) and modules) and
identifies, for each module and script, the required DB privileges. It
lists the tables from a database in either a simple way or with the
association to scripts and privileges. As all the strings are extracted
first to identify the SQL queries, WyCode may also be used to help the
localization process of products. Include statements are evaluated for
dependencies management. WySQL is required for dbms connection and
querying.

Changes: The include statements are now evaluated and recursively scanned
for creating a dependency list for later analysis of tables by a
product/module/component (and all the files included by the component).
Since WyCode just creates a table with the dependencies, the "per
module/component" analysis will (optionally) use this table to extract the
complete table usage of a component. The DB structure has been changed
once again; you must drop all the tables and recreate them from scratch by
means of the button.

About: XStow is a replacement for GNU Stow written in C++. It supports all
features of Stow with some extensions. XStow and GNU Stow are programs for

be compiled statically for such uses as rescue disks. XStow is fully
