About: DataVision is a reporting tool similar to Crystal Reports, written
in Java. It supports multiple data sources (JDBC, text files) and output
formats (HTML, XML, PDF, LaTeX, comma- and tab-separated data files, and
DocBook). It lets you design reports with a drag-and-drop GUI. Report
descriptions are stored as XML.

Changes: The layout engine command line options -c, -d, -f, -h, -l, and -x
now take optional output file name arguments. The Table Linker, Group By,
and Sort By dialogs now only list columns in tables used by the report
instead of listing every column in the database. This should make opening
these dialogs much quicker with large databases. An "OK" button has been
added to the SQL Query window to make it easier to close. On Mac OS X with
Java 1.4.1 the app hung after running a report from the command line. The
app now exits properly.

About: Exifprobe examines and reports the contents and structure of JPEG
and TIFF image files. It will recognize all standard JPEG markers
(including APPn markers) and will report the contents of any properly
structured TIFF IFD encountered, even when entry tags are not recognized.
Recognized TIFF and TIFF/EP tags are expanded, including EXIF2.2 sections
and camera MakerNotes which are found to be in TIFF IFD format. GPS and
GeoTIFF tags are recognized and entries printed in "raw" form, but are not
expanded. Location, size, and format of image data is reported.

Changes: This release fixes a couple of minor whitespace/quoting problems,
enhances exifgrep to subsume the capabilities of list_photo (and removes
list_photo), and adds a manual page for exifgrep.

FreeMoney project. The XML file contains sections for database, extraction

About: Sigit is a customisable signature creator that can be run either as
a daemon or as a normal foreground process. It allows you to have a
changing signature. If it's configured correctly, it will also change the
information displayed when someone fingers you. It also supports multiple
signature files for different newsgroups, and NFS-mounted $HOME shares.

Changes: This release fixes the boxes-zombie problem and a buffer overrun
problem in read_config_fifo(), adds a few more conversion chars in the
pretty/top_line/bottom_line setting, and changes the sigit.rc(5) error.

About: tsemgr is a GTK+ application to manage the SonyEricsson T68 mobile
phone. It allows you to read and send short messages (sms), view and edit
the phonebook, upload files via IrDA and Bluetooth, and turn your phone
into a remote control for your Linux box.

Changes: This release offers all the new functionality that only was
available in CVS for a long time. SMS parsing has been enhanced. All kinds
of EMSs should be parsed correctly now. Support for Obex over serial cable
has been added. The phonebook list can now be sorted by Name, Phone
number, or Index#. The whole phonebook can be backed up to hard disk and
restored to phone. Many bugs were fixed.

About: Vertoo is a tool that lightens a developer's burden to maintain
up-to-date versioning information across project's files. Vertoo provides
a simple interface to change the version of a project and distribute these
changes through the project's files. A configuration file describes the
versions used in a project (each in arbitrary, user-specified scheme) and
the formats for each of the occurrences of the version's data in the
project files.

Changes: This version adds new commit and tag commands for SCM
integration (CVS only for now), a new -m/-- module option to select
module(s) to work with, and a new - dry-run mode (-n) along with
diff-like output (-d) options for changes to be made. It is backported to
Python 2.1 and featurse improved dependency handling and parts
configuration.

About: Zoidberg provides a modular Perl shell written, configured, and
operated entirely in Perl. It aspires to be a fully operational login
shell with all the features one normally expects. But it also gives direct
access to Perl objects and data structures from the command line, and
allows you to run Perl code within the scope of your commandline.

Changes: Aside from some bugfixes, recent changes include support for rc
files, which are simply Perl scripts. A package Zoidberg::Shell was
created to have a basic interface (not yet finished, but implemented
functions are more or less stable). Update or remove all files in ~/.zoid
, or zoid will crash. Most documentation was updated.
