About: Alzabo is a two-fold program. Its first function is as a data
modelling tool. Through either a schema creation interface or a custom
Perl program, it allows a programmer to create a set of schema, table,
column, etc. objects that represent a data model. Alzabo is also capable
of reverse engineering an existing data model. Its second function is as a
RDBMS-to-object mapping system. Once you have created a schema, you can
use Alzabo classes to access its data. These classes offer a high-level
interface to common operations such as SQL SELECT, INSERT, DELETE, and
UPDATE commands.

Changes: A number of feature enhancements and code and documentation
fixes were made, resulting in a few backwards incompatibilities. This
release features much improved Postgres support, a new, simpler caching
system, and many smaller changes.

About: Anteater is a log analyser for MTA logfiles (such as those produced
by sendmail and postfix). The tool is written in 100% C++ and is very easy
to customize. Input, output, and the analysis are modular class objects
with a clear interface. Currently, there are modules for reading the
syslog format of sendmail and postfix that do up to seven useful analyses
and write the result in plain ASCII or HTML, to stdout or to files.

Changes: This release adds an input filter for Postfix and provides the
necessary switch to select an input filter. The new parameter
--aliases-file=no disables aliases.

About: CDDE is a program that detects when a CDROM drive has a disc
inserted. When it finds a disc inserted in the drive it will attempt to
determine the type of disc, and execute a specified command. This means a
DVD can be inserted and your favorite DVD software will start, or a data
CD can be automatically mounted.

Changes: The config file format was changed, and is not backwards
compatible. Man pages were added, and the polling delay was fixed to not
sleep initially. A command-line option was added for running commands
for discs already in the drive, and a batch mode that checks all drives
once and exits immediately was added.

About: CVTSA is a tool that allows a user to run arbitrary commands
remotely on a Linux system by sending email to the system. It maintains
security by requiring a password to be present in all email messages that
provide commands. There is a command wrapper file where the user can set
denied commands. It also uses a few other security techniques which are
outlined in the documentation. CVTSA can use a local fetcher to download
email, or it can create a connection to a remote mail server to download
email by itself. There is also an option that allows a pseudo-random
password to be created.

Changes: A bug affecting versions 0.1.9.3/4 while returning time (wrong
time) has been fixed. A command wrapper policy has been introduced to
improve security. Revision, improvement, and simplification of various
functions. It is now faster and more stable. Local fetcher mode has been
removed.

About: CMake is a cross-platform, open-source build system. It is used to
control the software compilation process using simple platform and
compiler independent configuration files. It generates native makefiles
and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your
choice. CMake is quite sophisticated: it is possible to support complex

code generation.

Changes: This release has initial support for MinGW builds on Windows, and
better error reporting for ctest and loaded commands. The custom commands
have been rearchitected to use a more understandable signature. The old
signature should still work. Ctest has been enhanced and can produce
testing dashboards compatible with Dart in many cases.

features a graphical interface as well as a (currently experimental)
Python API for doing repetitive or econometric tasks on games.

Changes: This release fixes a few graphical interface bugs and
misfeatures. A crash caused when editing profile probabilities has been
eliminated. Most algorithms now return any equilibria computed so far when
Cancel is pressed. Tests for trembling-hand perfection are suppressed in
many cases (especially on large games, where these tests are expensive).
You'll want to upgrade if you use Gambit on large games, or if you do any
custom editing of strategy profiles.

About: GOsa is a PHP-based administration tool for managing accounts and
systems in LDAP databases. It administers users and groups, mail

account in a limited way.

Changes: This release corrects a mistakenly copied UI object, fixes
errors when activating new terminals and removes krb warnings. The

entries. A problem in the terminal dialog where checkboxes are not saved
was fixed, as was ACL handling for the user's primary group, and Smarty
is now used for the template class. A FAQ was added, and the TODO updated
for the next versions. Accounts are movable between departments, there
is a partial Spanish translation, and mail group handling and the broken
layout on Internet Explorer have been fixed.

About: Kooka, part of the kdegraphics package, is a raster image scan
program which supports OCR. It is based on the scanner access library
SANE. It supports scanning in different modes and resolutions, preview,

support. OCR is supported through GOCR, an open source project. Kooka uses
the libkscan, which offers scanner support to all KDE applications.

Changes: This release adds support for the free OCR program ocrad, acting
as a graphical frontend for ocrad when working on scanned images. Image
printing has been added, either in the screen size or the real size
calculated from the scan resolution and fitting the page.

About: MG4J (Managing Gigabytes for Java) is a collaborative effort aimed
at providing a free Java implementation of inverted-index compression
techniques; as a by-product, it offers several general-purpose optimised

unsynchronised buffered streams, (possibly signed) minimal perfect
hashing, etc.

Changes: This release provides a new class that transparently wraps
multiple byte arrays and exposes a repositionable input stream of (at

About: Sagasu is a GNOME tool to find strings in multiple files. The user
specifies the search directory and the set of files to be searched.
Double-clicking on a search result launches a user command that can for
example load the file in an editor at the appropriate line. The search
can optionally ignore CVS directories. Sagasu is a Japanese word that
means "to search."

Changes: A new directory recursion depth field and a new tool bar button
for erasing the search string field were added. Crashes are now avoided
when closing the application while a search is active, or when closing
the tab in which an active search is running.

About: The submount removable media handling system automatically mounts
and unmounts removable media devices such as CDROMs, DVDs, and floppy
drives. It is a two part system, with a small kernel module and a
userspace program. It provides the same functionality as supermount, but
(hopefully) avoids supermount's stability problems.

Changes: This version adds the ability to call a program other than
submountd to do the mount by specifying it as "program=" on the fstab
line. It fixes a problem which could result in getting caught in a loop
due to a change in the way the VFS does lookup in 2.4.22. It changes the

About: Turck MMCache is a free PHP accelerator, optimizer, encoder, and
dynamic content cache. It increases performance of PHP scripts by caching
them in a compiled state, so that the overhead of compiling is almost
completely eliminated. It also uses some optimizations for speeding up PHP
scripts' execution. It typically reduces server load and increases the
speed of PHP code by 1-10 times. It is tested with PHP 4.1.0-4.3.3, and
Apache 1.3 and 2.0 under Linux and Windows.

Changes: The new API functions mmcache_lock and mmcache_unlock have been
implemented. A shared memory corruption bug has been fixed. A bug in
encoder.php has been fixed.

About: white_dune is a graphical VRML97 editor. VRML97 (Virtual Reality
Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web
via browser plugins. It has support for animation, realtime interaction
and multimedia (image, movie, sound). White_dune can read VRML97 files,
display and let the user change the scenegraph/fields, and load and store
x3d (the next generation VRML XML format) files if configured to work with
the nist.gov x3d translators. It also has support for stereoscopic view

About: Zoinks is a programmer's editor and development environment for
Unix/X11 systems. The editor has features similar to Mac text editors like
MPW and CodeWarrior. It also has some features for HTML authoring. Zoinks
supports comparing/diffing files and directory hierarchies. It also
supports inputting and editing multi-byte text (e.g. Japanese and other
Asian languages).

Changes: A crash that occurred when displaying long file paths in dialogs
has been fixed. Support has been added for double clicking on latex
compiler errors in the LaTeX Output window. A "Generate PDF" menu item has
