About: 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons Character Generator is an
HTML/JavaScript Web page that allows the user to quickly and easily create
new Dungeons and Dragons characters. The characters can be of any of the
eleven classes, any of the playable races, and may start at any level from
1 to 220. Generation requires some simple input, after which the character
is displayed on a basic character sheet. It allows you to select your
starting stats, add ability points, and pick skills, equipment, feats, and
spells. It runs on most operating systems with most modern browsers.

Changes: This release adds some new features and fixes some bugs. Rangers
and Monks now get their bonus feats. Wizard bonus feats have been fixed.
Spell selection has been improved.

About: anti win popup batch war script for samba tests any incoming popup
message with information stored about the previous message received. If
the message is different, it is displayed using gdialog. In this way, any
attempts to continuously send messages and overload the remote host using
a batch are foiled. The script maintains a configuration file that stores
the previous message information. This configuration file needs no editing
by the user and will be automatically generated and maintained in the home
directory.

Changes: If the new message text is different, the script also checks the
time difference between the two messages. If the difference is less than a
user-defined value, the new message will be discarded as a batch war
message. Otherwise it is displayed. Two new configuration file variables
have been added to the configuration file.

biblographic references from email alerts, journal Web pages, or PDF
files. It facilitates the capture of single references from unformatted

by dragging it onto the cb2Bib window. Reference manager applications can

About: Conary is a distributed software management system for Linux
distributions. It replaces traditional package management solutions (such
as RPM and dpkg) with one designed to enable loose collaboration across
the Internet. It enables sets of distributed and loosely connected

system. Rather then having a full distribution come from a single vendor,
it allows administrators and developers to branch a distribution, keeping
the pieces which fit their environment while grabbing components from

Changes: The source code has been re-arranged for easier maintenance, and
conary has been split into two programs: conary and cvc. You can now
install multiple troves at once (even a combination of changeset files and
troves from repositories), and the entire action is recorded in a single

started. Better error messages and debugging tracebacks were also added.

About: Emerde is a port of Gentoo's portage system that installs, removes,
updates, and maintains your system rapidly and easily. On Slackware, it
cooperates with the package database and allows you to install .tgz files
directly using dependency checking.

Changes: Portage was updated to the 2.0.50-r9 version. Semerde.stop was
created. It is launched at runlevel 0 and 6 to shut down all the programs
started by rc.emerde at boot time. An RSYNC_URL option has been added to
the installation procedure. It permits downloading the portage from
another machine. The syncing of the portage can be done using another
machine that has already done it. pkg2por is more accurate: if it doesn't
find the right version ebuild, it downloads it. --upgradepkg was added to
emerde. With this option, all the installpkg operations will use
upgradepkg instead.

that can fulfill the needs of both small and large forum operators.

Changes: A bug with adding additional headers to mailing list messages was
fixed. The search functionality was fixed for CP* (Russian, Latvian) and
UTF8 (Japanese) translations. The ability to download directories in the
form of tar archives was added. An administrator option was added to
disable autocomplete for the login form(s). Valid XML output is printed
when there is no output to RDF query. A few other small bugfixes and
improvements were made.

About: Gwee (Generic Web Exploitation Engine) is a small program designed
to pen-test input validation vulnerabilities in Web scripts, such as Perl
CGIs, PHP, etc. It is like an exploit, but more general-purpose. It
features several reverse (connecting) shellcodes (x86 Linux, FreeBSD,
NetBSD, and platform-independent Perl and Python scripts), 4 methods of
injecting (executing) them, a built-in HTTP/HTTPS client, and a built-in
server for receiving connections from injected shellcode.

Changes: gwee has finally been ported to Microsoft Windows (win32). Some
code clean-up was also done in the process. The tarball is delivered with
gwee.exe, which is pre-compiled with HTTPS support (openssl). gwee should
compile under Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD without problems.
