About: abcm2ps is a package that converts music tunes from ABC format to
PostScript. Based on abc2ps version 1.2.5, it was developed mainly to
print baroque organ scores that have independant voices played on one or
more keyboards, and a pedal-board. It introduces many extensions to the
ABC language that make it suitable for classical music.

Changes: This release fixes minor bugs and adds the new features
'%%beginps' .. '%%endps', and 'K:none' and 'K: clef=none', and accepts
spaces after '%%' in pseudo-comments.

About: Achievo ATK is an object oriented Web-application framework. It is
targeted at developers who wish to focus on business logic instead of
coding HTML. Where other application frameworks mainly provide a large set
of utility classes, ATK provides a complete framework that requires only
small amounts of code to get usable applications, while maintaining full
flexibility. In other words, even 10 lines of code get you a working
application, but everything that is generated for you can be completely
customized.

Changes: 'Privacy Enhancing Technologies' were added, an
atkCurrencyAttribute for manipulating currencies was added, the API has
been enhanced with several new methods, PostgreSQL support has been
improved, several bugs were fixed, a Spanish translation has been added,

About: AntiExploit is a on-access exploit scanner to detect local
intruders. It scans for over 3900 suspicious files, has daily database
updates, and will act if a file is accessed. It uses the dazuko kernel
module, which is also used by clamAV, Amavis, and other virus scanners.

Changes: A bug in the database functions has been fixed. AntiExploit no
longer detects wrong alerts while checking empty files. All users should
update to this version, especially if they use the script function.

quotes, computer uptime, the contents of a Web page or a text file, the

now specify a snippet of text for away message when going away for
convenience. This version is updated to use latest Gaim API and command

About: Conary is a distributed software management system for Linux
distributions. It replaces traditional package management solutions (such
as RPM and dpkg) with one designed to enable loose collaboration across
the Internet. It enables sets of distributed and loosely connected

system. Rather then having a full distribution come from a single vendor,
it allows administrators and developers to branch a distribution, keeping
the pieces which fit their environment while grabbing components from
other repositories across the Internet.

Changes: Conary can now create a single changeset that represents multiple
troves from multiple repositories. The repository server now transfers
multiple independent changesets to resolve requests, which will enable

Dynamically linked executables use less disk space and memory, but
require appropriative dynamic libraries present in order to run. ELF
statifier make one executable file with no run-time dependencies from a
dynamically linked executable and all its libraries. This file can be

About: KAlarm lets you configure personal messages to be displayed,
commands to be executed, or emails to be sent, at scheduled times. It
allows you to choose the message font and color, how often to repeat,
whether to display an advance reminder, whether to play a sound when the
message is displayed, and whether to cancel the alarm if it can't be
triggered on time (e.g. if you are logged out at the time). As well as
using the graphical interface to configure alarms, you can use the command
line, and there is a DCOP interface for other applications.

Changes: A late-cancellation period can now be specified, and the alarm

About: PwManager is a password manager. Passwords are protected using
strong Blowfish encryption. It supports many features such as importing
and exporting KPasman, GPasman, and plain-text files. The password-list
can be encrypted with a master-password or with a key-card (a.k.a.
chipcard or smartcard).

Changes: This release merges the working password generator from
development branch. There are i18n updates. PwG support was added. A view
update bug when the comment pane flips up was fixed. The main window
shutdown is more user- friendly.

About: PXES is a micro Linux distribution for thin clients that converts
any suitable machine into a versatile thin client within minutes. It can
access XDM servers presenting a graphical login screen, Microsoft Terminal
Servers, Citrix ICA, and VNC servers, LTSP, or a local X session with
simple desktop and window manager. A graphical configuration tool allows
parameters such as the server to be set. Local devices can be accessed,
including sound, printers, and disks. It boots on a variety of hardware,
and does not require NFS. It can be used over low bandwidth WAN and VPN
connections, and can also be booted from local media like hard disk and
CD-ROMs where network boot cannot be used.

Changes: This is a giant leap towards PXES 1.0, and a lot of functionality
has been added. To name a few: Citrix ICA 8.00 support, local TFTP and DHCP
relay to act as an appliance, and a new WindowsXP look and feel in LOCAL
session, SSH server, local configuration, etc. Another important addition
is the NX session. This combination allows enterprises to adopt
cost-effective PXES thin client solutions to replace their current
deployment. Pre-built images are also provided, including ISO, NBI, and
squash.

About: scdbackup is a simplified CD/DVD backup program for Linux. It can
back up large amounts of data on one or more media, with no special tools
needed for reading the backup. It supports ISO9660 filesystems and afio
archives. Its special features are automatic division of data into
multiple volumes, verification of write success, and incremental backups.
An information script on each volume tells where a certain file may be
found. CDs get written via cdrecord. DVDs get written via growisofs.

Changes: Several pitfalls around the use of DVD have been removed. The
program's behavior in case of failure has been clarified. Installation
instructions have been overhauled to prevent trusted users' unreliable
software from infringing other users' backup installations.

Privilege separation is fully supported.

About: sg_utils and sg3_utils are packages that contain tools for working
with devices that use the SCSI command set. They include variants of the
Unix dd command called sg_dd and sgp_dd that speed copies to, from, and
between SCSI disks and CDROMs. sg_map and sg_scan supply information about
SCSI devices and how they are related to other drivers. There are utilities
for timing and testing SCSI devices and retrieving mode and log page data.
The sg3_utils package is for the Linux 2.4 and 2.6 series, while sg_utils
is for the 2.2 series with some support for the 2.0 series.

Changes: This release adds sg_write_long and sg_read_long utilities, adds

function, prior to being written back to the database.

Changes: This release adds more control on text formatting. It has options
that allow the user to set the format to use to output the table values.
