About: amavisd-new is a high-performance and reliable interface between
MTAs and one or more content checkers, including virus scanners, and/or
the Mail::SpamAssasin Perl module. It talks to the MTA via (E)SMTP or
LMTP, or by using helper programs. No timing gaps exist in the design,
which could cause a mail loss. It is normally positioned at or near a
central mailer, not necessarily where the user's mailboxes and final
delivery takes place.
Changes: This release fixes (hard) blacklisting and whitelisting on static
lookup tables, which was failing to match any sender. The 'neutral' sender
notification, which was joining the Subject and the Message-ID header
fields in some situations, has been fixed. The signal and error handling
in code sections holding BDB locks is now more thorough. A new %e macro is
provided that evaluates to a best guess of the originator IP address
collected from the Received trace.

generator. It interprets a scripting language for producing reusable,

generating code or text. The code generation knows how to preserve
protected areas with hand-typed code and provides code expansion,

About: DoXFS (pron. docs-eff-ess) is a document management system that
uses the XFS filesystem to store both content (files) and meta-data (file
attributes), bypassing the traditional architecture of filesystem and
database, and leveraging the built-in advantages of XFS. Currently, it
offers a Web frontend based on PHP and standard management functionality
(create, delete, attributes add/delete, etc.) as well as extras such as
versioning and Full Text Indexing (using Namazu).
Changes: In the Web client, in-line IFRAMES are now sized correctly in
Konqueror and Mozilla when browsing a topic that contains sub-topics and
documents. In the Server, new versions of checked-in files now show up in
the browse list after check-in, and it is no longer necessary to force the

graphics rendering. Some of its features include dynamic lightmaps,

Changes: High-level wrapper functions for making and binding textures have

About: Emergence is a network arcade game that can be played over a LAN
for free, or over the Internet if a key is purchased. Each player controls
a spacecraft that can rotate, thrust in the direction it is currently
facing, and slow down. The maps consist largely of walls that damage a
craft's shield. Each craft has a railgun mounted on its underside, and
more ammo and other weapons can be picked up. Maps can also contain
teleporters, gravity wells, speedup ramps, friction areas, doors, and
switches.
Changes: The minigun now has visualisation and sound. There is
visualisation of health/ammo. There are now proper timed matched with an
announced winner. Player rankings are now always visible on the right hand
side. Explosions now have initial velocity of body exploding. Only
unpredictable shield flaring is propagated. default-server.autoexec is now
executed on server startup, which loads the default map. The plasmas are
now brighter by default. Key authentication for Internet play is now
implemented. Network bandwidth required to play has been reduced.

About: Freeciv is a multiuser reimplementation for Unix/X of the famous
Microprose game of Civilization. By default, the game is an improved Civ
II, but this can be customized; modpacks for near-100% compatibility with
Civ I and Civ II are included. Multiuser gameplay is real-time: in each
turn, all human players move concurrently. The game is designed to remain
fairly playable even on poor network connections. Freeciv can also be
played on standalone machines, and its AI players are a good challenge for
beginners. The source code comes with the server, two X clients, and non-X
clients for MS Windows and Amiga. Freeciv is released under the GNU
General Public License. It is maintained by an international team of
coders and enthusiasts, and is easily one of the most fun and addictive
network games out there.
Changes: Important compile fixes were made for some platforms. Game
balance adjustments were made. All buildings except wonders and space
parts are 30% cheaper. Some wonders are cheaper (Colossus, Copernicus,
Isaac Newton's, King Richard's, Oracle, and Shakespeare's). The submarine
has more attack and movement, and costs less. Reputation recovery was
fixed (it is now much slower). A few other minor bugfixes were made.

It was built from the ground up as a monitoring tool, and not as a Web
stats program that also reads squid logs.

filtering is done in PHP, which results in much faster searching. When the

text for easy identification. All secondary requests, such as images or
