About: The AnomicHTTPProxy is a caching proxy. Pages that pass through the
proxy are indexed and can be searched using a built-in HTTP server. Proxies
can connect each other and form a P2P-based index exchange network based on
distributed hash tables. The proxy can therefore be used as a global search
and distributed indexing engine. It also provides URL filtering with
blacklist sharing among other proxy peers, individual Web/servlet page
hosting, a file sharing zone, and a database engine.

Changes: A new password-controlled file-sharing servlet was added. There
is now support for personal Web pages. The proxy now resolves peer names
with the "yacy" TLD into the peer's address. Interface clean-up was done,
and many bugs regarding HTTP proxy service and P2P network bootstraping
were fixed.

once by adding all your disks to it.

Changes: The name of the application was changed from CDSearch to
DiskSearch. In this release, many disk types are supported, not just CDs.

About: Drums++ is a programming language for creating drum sequences for
MIDI devices. It comes with a player program for parsing .dpp files and
sending MIDI commands to a MIDI keyboard or drum machine. It can
alternatively create .midi files for playing on a PC.

Changes: Starting with this version, Drum++ comes with the Mac OS-X
flavor. The default volume for MIDI apears to be 127, so Drum++ was
modified to not allow anything higher than 127, and also gives a warning.
Some bugs are squashed.

About: FetchYahoo is a Perl script that downloads mail from a Yahoo!
account to a local mail spool. It is meant to replace fetchmail for
people using Yahoo! mail since Yahoo!'s POP service is no longer free. It
downloads messages to a local mail spool, including all parts and
attachments. It then deletes messages unless requested not to. It can
also optionally forward messages to a specified email address and repeat
with a given interval.

Changes: This release includes new --listmessages and --onlylistmessages
options to list messages in the mail folder. It also includes improves
retry behaviour and error reporting, and can now use sendmail to deliver
messages being forwarded. Finally it adds an --md5hex option which prints
the MD5 hex hash of a password entered interactively.

About: GTK Photo Gallery is an album to manage small and medium-sized

About: stash is a Perl script that aims to make it easier for you to
install, track, and maintain packages and modules in your home directory.
It performs this magic by detecting what type of package or module you are
installing and then passing all the correct command line arguments to the
relevant configure scripts and makefiles. It is extensible via custom
packages, and it tracks both architecture dependent and architecture
independent packages in separate directories so that they might be shared
across systems. Package tracking is done using symlinks in a way not
unlike GNU stow.

Changes: This release can handle perl Bundles. A new XercesC package has
been added.

About: vsound allows you to record the output of any standard OSS program
that uses /dev/dsp without having to modify or recompile the program. It
uses the same idea as the esddsp wrapper and preloads a library that
intercepts calls to open /dev/dsp and returns a handle to a normal file.
It also intercepts IOCTLs on that file handle and logs them to help
convert the audio data from its raw form. It then uses sox to convert the
raw data to the desired file format.

About: Yeemp is a decentralized instant messaging system. It uses GPG over
SSL for encryption, and UTF-8 to enable non-Latin text to be transferred.
The clients include support for Japanese, Cyrillic, and Ogham input, as
well as direct UTF-8. Yeemp includes a command-line client, an X client, a
server, and a simple Web-based client. The clients can also use the AIM and
ICQ protocols.

Changes: The client now deletes inbound keys from the server only after
the user has decided whether or not to accept them. Unhandleable public
keys can no longer be imported. Manual rekeying now actually generates
new keys, not just new key requests. The AIM plugin now strips HTML
case-insensitively, and removes I tags. Various places where the client
settings would get clobbered if the disk filled up while writing them
have been fixed.

About: Zina is a graphical interface to your MP3 collection, a personal
jukebox, and an MP3 streamer. It can run alone, be embedded into an
existing Web site, or be used as a Postnuke/PHPNuke module. It is similar
to Andromeda, but is released under the GPL.

Changes: This alpha release includes three of the most requested features.
First, music files can be stored outside the webroot for security. Second,
there is now an administrative interface for ease of use. Third, a
templating system has been set up for themes. This release also outputs
valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
