PostScript. Based on abc2ps version 1.2.5, it was developed mainly to
print baroque organ scores that have independant voices played on one or

About: Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a small
network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not in the
global DNS. The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and allows
machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS with names
configured either in each host or in a central configuration file. Dnsmasq
supports static and dynamic DHCP leases and BOOTP for network booting of
diskless machines.
Changes: This release fixes confusion between NODATA and NXDOMAIN replies
in the DNS server. It addresses a situation where dnsmasq could return
NXDOMAIN for a query of type AAAA even though queries for the same domain
for A or MX records would succeed. This bug is triggered by a change in
behaviour between Windows XP SP1 and SP2, and has also been seen with
certain mailer configurations. Note that the bug only occured for domains
that were in dnsmasq's local configuration (from /etc/hosts or DHCP).
Domains that were merely cached from upstream name servers never triggered
the problem.

About: LinuxConsole can be started from CD/DVD, Hard disk, floppy disk,
USB disk, or network card (PXE). The 'console' word doesn't mean that it
is started in 'console' mode, but is meant to symbolize the simplicity of
using it. This distribution is as simple to use as a games console: you
can start applications without installing them. It is a live CD, and all
hardware should be auto-configured at first boot. LinuxConsole is modular:
there is a common base (device detection, GUI) and optional modules for
multimedia, communication, and servers.
Changes: Many bugfixes and some improvements were made. The boot messages
were updated and boot commands were added. Patch 5.1 was enabled.
English, French, Italian, are German languages are now available in
icewm, GNOME, and Freevo. The NVIDIA files were moved from xfree_drivers
to the nvidia module, and the NVIDIA licence must be accepted before
they are used or else the XFree drivers without 3D acceleration are used.

About: Magellan Metasearch is a modular meta search engine, enabling users
to monitor as many search engines as they want, and use a complex query
language with full boolean syntax, and proximity operators -- much more
elaborate than languages provided by Google, Altavista, etc. It can be fed
any sources, since its abstraction layer manages the search results and
their meta tags in a uniform way. Future releases will include the ability
to record requests and be notified in real-time through email or SMS when
new results have been discovered.
Changes: This release includes several bugfixes and internal code
clean-ups. Two new features have been added: users are now able to save
their requests to check them later, and Magellan now shows the unread
results on top. This release prepares the beta-4 release, which will

About: Tapeback is command line software for backing up various parts of
a Linux system. It supports appending multiple backups to a single tape
as well as having a backup span multiple tapes. Its backups are fully
self-contained; no "database" is needed to restore a backup. Restore
point redirection is also easily accomplished without complex editing of
config files or complex commands to enter at the command line. The package
also includes a small kernel patch to facilitate real-time detection of
"drive ready" status. This patch allows tapeback to automatically detect
when a tape is switched in the drive (when end of tape is hit during
backup/restore).
Changes: The tape spanning code was fixed so that it actually works again.
A bug in taperestore that caused the K per Second display to be wildly
wrong on the second and subsequent tapes was fixed. A case where you would
be at end of tape yet the device End_Of_Tape indicator would not come on
was fixed.

succeeds. It's very useful for coordinating the startup or shutdown of
services. Each item you wish to wait for is specified on the command line
as a series of URLs. The program will repeatedly test each one until it
'succeeds' or until the maximum wait time is exceeded.

URL. The syntax is to use 'cmd:' followed by your command. If you have
