There are many GUI components available which can be used to display
vector graphics and animation. Most of them are dedicated to particular
classes of vector images such as graphs, business diagrams, SVG images,
geographic maps, technical drawings, and financial charts. Unfortunately,
it is not yet always possible to find a suitable component for a
particular application which satisfies price, licensing, scalability,
performance, stability, feature availability, and other requirements. And
if one wants to add vector-based visualization to an existing application,
additional requirements of integration ability arise.

About: Doodle is a tool that searches your hard drive for files using
pattern matching on meta-data. It extracts meta-data using libextractor
and builds a suffix tree to index the files. The index can then be
searched rapidly. It is similar to locate, but can take advantage of
information such as ID3 tags.

Changes: This release adds support for 64-bit files, allowing the
database to grow beyond 2 GB. Doodle should now uses less space, in
particular while it builds the index. The search string size is now
bounded to avoid a problem with quadratic complexity for very long search
strings. Options were added to make Doodle more compatible with locate, in
particular it can now search multiple databases and allows the user to
prune paths from the searchlist. A translation of messages to Dutch was
added. This release also fixes various minor bugs.

About: Sunclock is a sophisticated clock for the X Window system. It
displays a map of the Earth and shows which portion is illuminated by the
sun. In addition to providing local time for the default timezone, it also
displays GMT time, legal and solar time of major cities, their latitude and

About: Tito measures traffic on a specific IPs. It only works if you
forward traffic via iptables. The program draws graphics, has skins for
the Web interface, and is easy to install. The skins are simply CSS files,
and sample skins are available.
