About: AudienceConnect is a revenue-generating Python CGI solution for
independent content providers. Requests for dynamic content are routed
through PayPal. Previews of that content are generated as static HTML for
search engines to harvest. Self-publishers can upload and publish
remotely, or the editorial CGI can be used to view and publish
submissions. Demo site content is plain text, but AudienceConnect can be
extended to deliver any digital content: sound files, image files, etc.
Installation is very simple; no database technologies are used. The
related modules are completely independent and require only access to
Python 1.5.2 in your cgi-bin.

About: Bastet ("bastard tetris") is an ncurses Tetris clone which is
harder than every other tetris released. It is based on a heuristics
engine which tries to detect which block you need or don't need, and then
gives you the blocks that you don't need. For instance, if you usually
play by leaving long "canyons" one square wide and then waiting for the
long "I" block, you'll have to wait till eternity before you see it. The
heuristics have been worked on for some time and are quite nasty.

Changes: Minor bugfixes. Thanks to those who reported them. There is a
brand new AI that should provide much less boring gameplay and avoid some
flaws of the old one.

About: Conary is a distributed software management system for Linux
distributions. It replaces traditional package management solutions (such
as RPM and dpkg) with one designed to enable loose collaboration across
the Internet. It enables sets of distributed and loosely connected

system. Rather then having a full distribution come from a single vendor,
it allows administrators and developers to branch a distribution, keeping
the pieces which fit their environment while grabbing components from

Changes: Chained dependency resolution (A depends on B, which depends on
C) is faster by more than an order of magnitude in many cases. A bug in
the client that prevented source files from being properly flagged in the
repository is now fixed. The conary query command now prints flavor
information when multiple flavors of the same version of a trove are
installed, and the conary repquery command's --all option now provides
better-formatted output. Absolute changesets are converted to relative
changesets more efficiently.

About: Csvtosql is a library and tool to convert any CSV-based data. It
accepts multiple data formats (such as CSV, Excel, or arrays), converts it
into SQL statements, and writes the data back in multiple formats
(textfile, database).

Changes: ThinGui now provides more detailed info on descriptors. An
arguments check was added to TableStructure and WriterList. A new
"test.dbf" sample was included along with "tolowercase" and "touppercase"
rendering filters and a SqlMultipleFileWriter writer. A

About: Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a small
network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not in the
global DNS. The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and allows
machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS with names
configured either in each host or in a central configuration file. Dnsmasq
supports static and dynamic DHCP leases and BOOTP for network booting of
diskless machines.

Changes: This release has some minor new features; RFC 3397 support,
better CNAME caching, and a few more flexible options. It fixes an
interaction with Linux kernels after 2.4.19 or so, where receiving a UDP
packet with a bad checksum can cause dnsmasq to hang. It also fixes a bad
interaction with the Polipo Web cache. Compilation under OpenBSD works
again, and the NetBSD configuration has been updated.

structure of the content. Using the DocBook stylesheets, you can publish

Changes: There are no backwards-incompatible changes in this release. The
wordsize global effectivity attribute was added. A few typos in public

replaced with 'title'. A '%f' interpolation variable has been added that
expands to the name of the current configuration file. The default 'title'
value is now "[%h] filewatcher %f report". Distinct reports are now mailed

improved when run in auto-blocking mode. An iptables auto-block rules

About: SafeHTML is an anti-XSS HTML parser, written in PHP. It strips down
all potentially dangerous content within HTML: opening tags without closing
tags, closing tags without opening tags, certain attributes (on*, data*,

behavior in styles, and any other active content.

Changes: The "id" and "name" attributes were added to the list of
dangerous attributes, because a malefactor can break legal Javascript by
spoofing the ID or NAME of an element. The new parse() method allows you
to do the whole parsing process in two lines of code. The examples were
updated. SafeHTML now produces more XHTML compliant code (li and p are
closed correctly). "webcal" was added to the white list of protocols for
users of calendar programs (Mozilla/iCal/etc). SafeHTML now strips down
table elements when not inside a table.

with devices that use the SCSI command set. They include variants of the
Unix dd command called sg_dd and sgp_dd that speed copies to, from, and
between SCSI disks and CDROMs. sg_map and sg_scan supply information about
SCSI devices and how they are related to other drivers. There are utilities
for timing and testing SCSI devices and retrieving mode and log page data.
The sg3_utils package is for the Linux 2.4 and 2.6 series, while sg_utils

About: sherpa is a tool for configuring and then checking system security
via the console. Written in perl, it allows an admin to maintain a custom
database of file and directory permissions and ownership attributes as
local needs dictate. Any changes from the prescribed layout will be

About: Socat is a relay for bidirectional data transfer between two
independent data channels. Each of these data channels may be a file,
pipe, device (terminal or modem, etc.), socket (Unix, IP4, IP6 - raw, UDP,
TCP), a client for SOCKS4, proxy CONNECT, or SSL, etc. It provides forking,
logging, and dumping, different modes for interprocess communication, and
