About: 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons Character Generator is an
HTML/JavaScript Web page that allows the user to quickly and easily create
new Dungeons and Dragons characters. The characters can be of any of the
eleven classes, any of the playable races, and may start at any level from
1 to 220. Generation requires some simple input, after which the character
is displayed on a basic character sheet. It allows you to select your
starting stats, add ability points, and pick skills, equipment, feats, and
spells. It runs on most operating systems with most modern browsers.

Changes: This release adds the ability to "level up" a pre-existing
character. The generator now allows you to pick a class in which to gain
a level, then calculates your new hit points, skill points, spells, feat
points, etc for you. There have been minor code cleanup and bugfixes
also.

About: DrPython is a highly customizable, simple, and clean editing

About: EncFS is an encrypted pass-through filesystem which runs in
userspace on Linux (using the FUSE kernel module). Similar in design to
CFS and other pass-through filesystems, all data is encrypted and stored
in the underlying filesystem. Unlike loopback filesystems, there is no
predetermined or pre-allocated filesystem size.

Changes: This release fixes bugs which occurred when attempting to undo a
failed recursive rename operation and an incorrect return code for
extended attribute functions. Encfs always returned -1 if an extended
attribute function failed, rather then the proper error code. This release
supports new versions of CVS fuse.

About: Free Java Ticker is a Java applet that can be inserted in Web pages
to display news, sports, weather, or other information in a (scrolling)
ticker tape. The applet displays news items one by one, and when all news

the news, a browser is opened with the URL associated with it. There is
also a special "onmouseover" effect: when the user moves the mouse over a

About: NoMachine NX is a fast terminal server system based on the X11

applied. OpenBSD's "pf" is the notable exception to this rule. So if you

single permutation. With PFconf you only need one rule, and the script
will take care of the necessary permutations. These scripts are designed

About: PureAdmin is a graphical tool used to make the management of
PureFTPd a little easier. It is not dependent on a specific desktop
environment such as GNOME or KDE, but is designed with the GNOME Human

An Italian translation was added. Some UTF8 errors were fixed, as well as

About: PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) is a portable message-passing
programming system, designed to link separate host machines to form a
``virtual machine'' which is a single, manageable computing resource. The
virtual machine can be composed of hosts of varying types, in physically
remote locations. PVM applications can be composed of any number of
separate processes, or components, written in a mixture of C, C++ and
Fortran. The system is portable to a wide variety of architectures,

About: Quod Libet is an audio player that lets you use all features
available in the ID3 and Ogg Vorbis tagging standards. It supports

highlights all films, and any programs listed as 'favorites'.

Changes: Radio Times altered their Web site and broke the script. It has

listings, which now get put into an array to ease customisation. It would
now be quite easy to add favourites by email support to this script.

About: RLog provides a flexible message logging facility for C++ programs
and libraries. It is subscription based, meaning you can subscribe to
messages of your choice in an number of ways: by hierarchical channel
name (e.g. "debug", "debug/ special", "error", etc.), or filename,
component name, etc. Log messages are individually enabled. It is meant
to be fast enough to leave in production code - even where it may be
called many times, as both the GCC and Intel compilers reduce the logging
overhead a few clock cycles if they are dormant (with no subscribers).
Other add-on components can extend subscriptions to external programs,
allowing you to enable and collect debugging messages remotely.

Changes: The autoconf build has been updated to work with newer versions
of the automake tools (needed for the SuSE 9.2 build). There are changes
to support compilers that lack any form of variadic macros in C++ (based
on changes to support Visual C++).

postgrey, refining auto-whitelisting and storing whitelists and
connection attempts in a database. Its goal is reducing the amount of spam

Changes: Previous releases were vulnerable to SQL code injection, and a
DoS attack (no mail delivery) may have been possible. Proper quoting of

About: SquidClamAV Redirector is a Squid helper script which adds virus
scanning for defined filename extensions. It has been tested with Python,
pyclamav, ClamAV, and Squid. Squid has to be configured to use
"redirect_program" and to either deny access to a URL defined in the SCAVR
configuration or to redirect to a remote Site which displays an error (and
some information). SCAVR handles the request as given from Squid,
downloads the URL, and scans it for known viruses. It rewrites the URL
from Squid to a blocked URL or an information page with information about
the scanning results.

twice. Redirect handling was implemented along with a MIMEType feature,

structure. It is well suited to keeping track of many different types of
information. Each node of the tree can contain several defined fields,
forming a mini-database. The format of each node can be defined, and the

About: white_dune is a graphical VRML97 editor. VRML97 (Virtual Reality
Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web
via browser plugins. It has support for animation, realtime interaction and
multimedia (image, movie, sound). White_dune can read VRML97 files, display
and let the user change the scenegraph/fields, and load and store x3d (the
next generation VRML XML format) files if configured to work with the
nist.gov x3d translators. It also has support for stereoscopic view via
"quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like
a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.

Changes: A missing update after a delete from an MF field in Fieldview has
been fixed. Incorrect copying of exposedField values to the first values of
a interpolator if the interpolator is not empty has been fixed. Usage
documentation about file->upload has been added.

About: Wodan is an Apache module for reverse proxying and caching of
sites. It allows the backend server to determine how pages should be
cached through a custom HTTP header, which makes it very flexible. It
caches on the local filesystem, which makes it very easy to create custom
purging systems. Expiration of cachefiles is also supported, as well as
no-caching options.

Changes: This release can cache 404 results from the backends, enabling
the administrator to significantly lower the load on the backend. Two
major bugs have been fixed. It no longer stops Apache's KeepAliveTimeout
from working. The "X-Wodan" headers are used again (version 1.1.2 broke
this behaviour). It is advised that all users update.

About: wxSFTP aims to be a simple, easy-to-use, and portable SFTP client.
"Simple" means that the program will have only the main features needed.
The structure consists of a two panel window, one for the local filesystem
and another for the remote filesystem. To be easy to use the program is a
graphical client that will be HIG compliant.

Changes: Current features include two panel view, connection via
user/password, and single file upload/download. This very first version
has bugs and lacks features, but it was released in order to get some
feedback.

About: Yam builds a local APT/Yum RPM repository from local ISO files,
downloaded updates, and extra packages from 3rd party repositories. It
takes care of setting up the ISO files, downloading the RPMs, configuring
HTTP access, and providing PXE/TFTP resources for remote installations. It
was primarily intended for doing remote network installations of various
distributions from a laptop without the need for CD media or floppies, but
is equally suitable for an organization's centralized update server.

Changes: More freedom in storing ISO files. Ordering of ISO files has been
simplified. Improvements to lftp and rsync options. A remount option has
been added.
