provides a service-oriented operating environment upon which Web
applications and Web services may be built. NKSE is neutral with respect
to Web service technology and provides SOAP 1.1, 1.2, and REST service

architecture. As well as hosting services, applications include
modularized CMS, XML pipeline processing, and XML systems integration.

Changes: This major release provides a new Scriptable Foundation API which
offers a clean abstraction of the kernel APIs. A new NetKernel Scripting
Framework enables services to be choreographed using dynamically-compiled
scripts. The Groovy, Python, Beanshell, and Javascript languages are
supported together with the declarative languages DPML and XRL. A new
unit-test framework is provided for unit testing services; it features
recursive test groups and extensible assertions. Many new technology
modules are provided, including email processing tools. The NetKernel
microkernel has been updated to 2.6.0.

About: AudienceConnect is a revenue-generating Python CGI solution for
independent content providers. Requests for dynamic content are routed
through PayPal. Previews of that content are generated as static HTML for
search engines to harvest. Self-publishers can upload and publish
remotely, or the editorial CGI can be used to view and publish
submissions. Demo site content is plain text, but AudienceConnect can be
extended to deliver any digital content: sound files, image files, etc.
Installation is very simple; no database technologies are used. The
related modules are completely independent and require only access to
Python 1.5.2 in your cgi-bin.

Changes: The AC_PrePal CGI has been refactored. There is a bugfix in the
creation of set-content previews for sub-sites. There are minor changes in
AC_Common, AC_PostPal, AC_Qualify, and AC_Open. The online manual has been
updated.

supports remote submission of project release updates to freshmeat via its
XML-RPC interface. freshmit automates release notifications based on
SourceForge project notes and a file named "freshmeat". Examples of these
files are included in the package, as are two Python scripts that are used
to manipulate the SourceForge notes, version, and changelog files.

Changes: This version assumes the first entry in HIDE_FILE is a hidden
release, since the initial release is done by hand in the browser, and
within hours you've found some stupid typo and need to release number two.
This can be overridden in the freshmeat file in the project directory.

1.0 and 1.1, has a proxy mode to record sessions, supports GET and POST

internationalized and themable, and includes three themes.

Changes: This is a bugfix release, fixing a syntax error in the options/

regex characters weren't escaped, so the expressions weren't replaced and
the engine started a infinite loop.
