decentralize BitTorrent. It is based on a network of "supertrackers" or
"supernodes" that users query and which route users to the correct
tracker(s). A modified tracker and client are used, and "old" clients can

system.

bytecode. It supports a very large subset of ANSI C (1989). It can be used
to develop new applications using C as well as port existing applications

Java methods can be called from AMPC. The asm() directive can be used to

About: The BioAPI Specification is intended to provide a high-level
generic biometric authentication model, one suited for any form of
biometric technology. It covers the basic functions of Enrollment,
Verification, and Identification, and includes a database interface to

population for optimum performance. It also provides primitives that allow
the application to manage the capture of samples on a client, and the
Enrollment, Verification, and Identification on a server. The
specification defines the Application Programming Interface and Service
Provider Interface for a standard biometric technology interface. It is
beyond the scope of this specification to define security requirements for
biometric applications and service providers, although some related
information is included by way of explanation of how the API is intended
to support good security practices. This is the reference implementation
of the standard.

uses files in /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ to set or throttle the
CPU speed. It requires the acpi-cpufreq Linux kernel module to be loaded

mode, cpu_freq_throttle will change it.

About: The flat assembler is a fast and efficient self-assembling 80x86
assembler for DOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. It supports all
8086-80486/Pentium instructions with MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, and 3DNow!
extensions and x86-64 (both AMD64 and EM64T) instructions. It can produce
output in binary, MZ, PE, COFF, or ELF format. It includes the powerful
but easy-to-use macroinstruction support, and does multiple passes to

About: Split-Dist calculates the number of splits (edges) that differs for
two trees. When you construct phylogenetic trees using slightly different
methods, or from slightly different input data, the trees will not
agreecompletely on the topology. When they differ, it is interesting to
know where they differ, i.e. which edges can be found in both trees and
which cannot.

Changes: This version fixes a bug that caused the tool to output the wrong
distance for trees containing degree 2 nodes. On such trees, the split
distance is not meaningful, and they should be translated into
higher-degree trees by replacing degree 2 nodes with edges. This is now
done.

About: Sprog is a graphical tool that anyone can use to build programs by
plugging parts together. In Sprog jargon, the parts are known as 'gears'
and they are assembled to make a 'machine'. Gears are selected from a
palette and dragged onto the Sprog workbench, where they can be connected
together. Options can be set using a properties dialog on each gear. When
assembly is complete, the machine can be run, reconfigured, or re-run.

Changes: This release includes bugfixes, some new gears, and one new
feature: you can now use the --nogui option to run Sprog without a GUI. So
your carefully crafted machines can now be run from cron or similar.
Filenames or URLs may now be dragged and dropped into a machine. The first
(experimental) image manipulation gear was added. Other less exciting new
gears were added. Various improvements were made to the user interface and
online help.

statistics. Though tailored for using NetFlow data from the flow-tools
package, it is generic and can be customized to present and process any
kind of network statistics. The backend collects data with flow-tools
and stores reports in a database, automatically handling the aggregation
of hourly statistics into days, weeks, and months. The Web frontend
presents data in tables, matrices, or plots. The reports are fully
customizable, and their definitions are stored in the database.

Changes: This is a minor update which fixes some important issues with
data representation of the number of flows and number of packets per
second. Updating is recommended for all users.

About: X-Plane is a flight simulator that reads in the geometric shape of
any aircraft and then figures out how that aircraft will fly. It does this
via an engineering process called "blade element theory", which involves
breaking the aircraft down into many small elements and then finding the
forces on each little element many times per second. These forces are then
converted into accelerations, which are then integrated to velocities and
positions. This gives X-Plane the most realistic flight model available
for personal computers.

About: ZoneMinder is a suite of applications intended for use in video
camera security applications, including theft prevention and child or
family member monitoring. It supports capture, analysis, recording, and
monitoring of video data coming from one or more video or network cameras
attached to a Linux system. It also features a user-friendly Web interface
which allows viewing, archival, review, and deletion of images and movies
captured by the cameras. The image analysis system is highly configurable,
permitting retention of specific events, while eliminating false positives.
ZoneMinder supports both directly connected and network cameras and is
built around the definition of a set of individual 'zones' of varying
sensitivity and functionality for each camera. This allows the elimination
of regions which should be ignored or the definition of areas which will
alarm if various thresholds are exceeded in conjunction with other zones.
All management, control, and other functions are supported through the Web
interface.

interface. A number of optimizations and other enhancements were made,
including support for controlling Axis PTZ cameras. A number of bugs have
been fixed, and some languages have been added and updated.
