About: Jackbeat is an audio sequencer with support for the JACK Audio
Connection Kit. Featuring a drum-machine-like interface, it is designed
with real-time operation in mind: while playing, the pattern can be

Changes: A bug that forbade jab files containing empty tracks to load has
been fixed. The helpful segfault handler is unfortunately not very
portable; it has caused troubles on the PowerPC and is now only included
when compiling on the i386 platform. The current graphical animation,
which is heavy due to a design problem, now gets refreshed at a much
lower rate as a CPU-friendly workaround.

records. The program does the same as Microsoft's "fdisk /mbr" to a hard
disk or "sys d:" to a floppy or FAT32 partition, except that it does not
copy any system files (only the boot record is written).

Changes: Now ms-sys is able to identify an MS-DOS MBR with the
undocumented F2 instruction. A bug in the Makefile that made it fail to

About: rxvt-unicode is a clone of the well known terminal emulator rxvt,
modified to store text in Unicode (either UCS-2 or UCS-4) and to use
locale-correct input and output. It also supports mixing multiple fonts at
the same time, including Xft fonts.

Changes: This release is a pure bugfix release. The Xft backend was
reworked to work more correctly and even more slowly (only rarely,
though). Too high/too wide characters are avoided more aggressively, too
wide characters near the end-of-line will be wrapped into the next line
instead of being cut in half, and a cosmetic problem with the rxvt-style
scrollbar + scrollBar_floating has been fixed. This release also adds a
slightly hackish patch to the doc directory to make it work better on
Solaris 9.

About: Sprog is a graphical tool that anyone can use to build programs by
plugging parts together. In Sprog jargon, the parts are known as 'gears'
and they are assembled to make a 'machine'. Gears are selected from a
palette and dragged onto the Sprog workbench, where they can be connected
together. Options can be set using a properties dialog on each gear. When
assembly is complete, the machine can be run, reconfigured, or re-run.
