About: 4tH is a Forth compiler with a little difference. Instead of the
standard Forth engine it features a conventional compiler. 4tH is a very
small compiler that can create bytecode, C-embeddable bytecode, standalone
executables, but also works fine as a scripting language. It supports over
85% of the ANS Forth CORE wordset and features conditional compilation,
pipes, files, assertions, forward declarations, recursion, include files,
etc. It comes with an RPN calculator, line editor, compiler, decompiler,
C-source generators, and a virtual machine.

Changes: Structures and aliases are now supported. The ANS-Forth words
PARSE-NAME and DUMP were added to the library. Some minor bugs in the
library were fixed. The virtual machine was redesigned and performance was
boosted by 50%. The User Guide was completed.

About: Addendat is a blogging program that can accept updates from either
a CGI interface or a shell interface. Additions are stored as HTML, so you
can edit both entries and design in any ordinary text editor. It is
configured using a simple HTML-like config file format and supports

JavaScript and can publicize additions on a central hub, making it easy
for Web users to find recently-updated blogs. It supports comments and
archiving, can post entries to LiveJournal, and features configurable

About: Daemon Shield is a Linux intrusion prevention daemon that scans for
brute force break-in attacks in real time and uses iptables to create rules
that block the attackers' IP addresses for a configurable period of time.
It uses handlers that watch for attacks against given services, such as
SSH, telnet, FTP, etc. It is highly configurable through a central
configuration file. It loads existing blocklist rules into iptables on
startup, and removes the blocklist rules when it shuts down. Other major
features include background daemon operation, logging to syslog,
easy-to-extend handlers, configurable block duration, and email
notifications.

Changes: This release works well in the environments where it has been
tested, which include RHEL ES 4, CentOS 4, and RHEL ES 3 with Python 2.3
installed. Currently, SSH and PAM handlers are functional and enabled by
default. The pam handler should block any attacks against pam-enabled
services. A handler for Apache is planned for future releases.

About: ffmpeg-php is an extension for PHP that adds an easy to use
object-oriented API for retrieving information from movies and audio
files. It has methods for returning frames from movie files as images that
can be manipulated using PHP's image functions. This works well for
automatically creating thumbnail images from movie files. ffmpeg-php is
also useful for reporting the duration and bitrate of audio files (mp3,
wma...). ffmpeg-php can access many of the formats supported by ffmpeg.

Changes: This release adds the ability to create animated GIFs.
ffmpeg_frame constructor has been fixed to allow creating ffmpeg_frames
from gd images. This allows to make animated GIFs directly from a series
of gd images. A php.ini option has been added to disable persistent
movies. frame->isKeyFrame() and movie->getNextKeyFrame() methods have been
added. Now displays ffmpeg-php ini values in the php_info() table. A crash
when trying to read more frames than exist in a movie has been fixed.
There is a patch to correctly init gd before attempting to fetch gd image
resources.

About: subPersistence is an abstract, light-weight, yet flexible framework
for working with O/R persistence mappers. It provides for independence of a
specific O/R mapper such as Hibernate or Castor. While you can use
Hibernate or Castor (or other O/R mappers) directly, coupling your
application too tightly to those can be a bad thing. subPersistence makes
