About: Bayonne is the telephony server of the GNU project. Bayonne offers
a script driven threaded multiline state event telephony service for
building voice response systems and telephony plugins for runtime driver
configuration. Bayonne also features "TGI" for making perl applications
"telephony aware". Bayonne may be used to build telephony based system
administration, home automation, automated attendent, v-commerce, and
voice messaging systems.

Changes: Combined with the latest ccscript3 engine, support was added for
definition macros to create direct command extensions and wrappers for
both internal functions and externally executed programs. Macro
definitions are now used to better localize behavior for international
deployments as well as to make rapid voice application programming easier.
Other changes include support for installing music files into the Bayonne
voice archive and optionally triggering file rename on completion of
record and append operations.

Normal Form of a boolean expression binary tree. The library also has a C
programming interface.

Changes: The DNF algorithm now detects cases where the resulting

requested conversions fail.

About: Botan is a C++ library of cryptographic algorithms. It includes a
wide selection of cryptographic algorithms (including AES, DES, SHA-1,
RSA, and DSA, among many others). It also support X.509 certificates and
several common certificate-related formats and protocols. It has a high
level interface, is easily portable to most systems and compilers, and
includes a substantial tutorial and API reference.

Changes: This release fixes a potential infinite loop that existed in the
new memory allocator code included in the previous development release.
Various BigInt functions have been rewritten, and in some cases private
APIs were modified, in order to reduce the creation of temporary objects.
Randpool's mixing function was made somewhat more straightforward.

About: Conary is a distributed software management system for Linux
distributions. It replaces traditional package management solutions (such
as RPM and dpkg) with one designed to enable loose collaboration across
the Internet. It enables sets of distributed and loosely connected
repositories to define the components which are installed on a Linux
system. Rather than having a full distribution come from a single vendor,
it allows administrators and developers to branch a distribution, keeping
the pieces which fit their environment while grabbing components from
other repositories across the Internet.

Changes: Conary 0.96 is now feature-frozen. The conary rq command no
longer uses affinity by default; use --affinity to turn it on. Updating an
x86 library on an x86_64 system no longer causes conary to mistakenly
switch other x86_64 components of that package to x86 versions. "Update
job" output again puts components on the same line as their surrounding
packages. The mirror script now mirrors trove signatures.

About: cvsdadm is a tool to assist CVSd administrators in the user admin
of the CVSROOT/passwd, CVSROOT/readers, CVSROOT/writers files when
pserver authentication is being used for the repository. Cvsdadm is a
fork of cvspadm.

Changes: The repository's file is queried if $user is already present
before attempting to add him/her. A bug that made cvsdadm crash with the
"disable" function was fixed. The program now prints whether a user is
enabled or disabled in Query mode. The program exits with status 0 instead
of 1 in interactive mode. Some other minor bugs were fixed.

About: DenyHosts is a script intended to help Linux system administrators
thwart ssh server attacks. DenyHosts scans an ssh server log, updates
/etc/hosts.deny after a configurable number of failed attempts from a
rogue host is determined, and alerts the administrator of any suspicious
logins.

Changes: This version adds a synchronization mode which allows all
DenyHosts daemons to seemlessly share denied host data via the centralized

About: DIIT provides a simple tool that can hide a message inside a 24-bit
colour image so that knowing how it was embedded, or performing statistical
analysis, does not make it any easier to find the concealed information. It
also provides a framework for implementing other steganography algorithms
for use in the tool.

Changes: This release adds a new filter for the filterable hiding
algorithms, two new hiding algorithms, and a couple of major interface
improvements. The interface now sports an embedding rate progress bar, so
you know in advance how much of the available hiding space will be used.
The interface also has a new "Explain" button which gives a small synopsis
of how each algorithm works.

About: gPodder is a Podcast receiver/catcher written in Python and pyGTK.
It manages podcast feeds for you, and automatically downloads all podcasts
from as many feeds as you like. If you are interested in Podcast feeds,
simply put the feed URLs into gPodder and it will download all episodes
for you automatically. If there is a new episode, it will get it for you.
It supports download resume, if the server supports it.

Changes: The codebase has been rewritten from scratch and proper XML
parsing has been implemented. Feeds now appear with their title instead of
their URL and gPodder will keep track of downloaded podcasts. A better GUI,
support for HTTP proxies, and different kinds of media players have also
been added.

About: GPSMap is a Java application that displays maps and shows your
position with the aid of a GPS device. It can track paths, load overlays
(such as shape files), and download maps from the MapBlast and Expedia
servers.

Changes: Lots of refactoring was done. Helper classes were moved from the
org.dinopolis.gpstool package to subpackages. Only the applications remain
in the main package. Separate jars were made for utils, gpsinput
(communication with GPS devices), gpstool (command line application), and
gpsylon (moving map application). The resource files were renamed from
/.gpsmap/GPSMap.properties to ~/.gpsylon/Gpsylon.properties. Users need to
copy their private settings to the new location/name. The default world map
(from gpsdrive) is used as the top level map.

About: Hot Potato Online is a fast paced arena sport game where players
try to explode the opposition using a short-fused potato bomb. The
generated environment can be used to bounce, corner, and surprise foes. Up
to 4 players can confront each other in detailed customized matches. It's
similar to dodgeball with a grenade.

Changes: Local and online game lists were added. Players can join games in
progress. Game descriptions and passwords were added. An overhead popup was
added to show gained/lost points. A chat pencil icon is shown when "writing
a message". Menu click sounds were added. Gameplay tweaks were done. The
version system was updated. freeglut and glpng were statically linked. The
ability to change fullscreen/window mode was added. SDL_mixer is used
instead of OpenAL. Bugfixes wre made.

access to a file server. It is written using Java Servlets and the jCIFS
library. Supported file servers are Samba, MS Windows, NetApp OnTAP, and

Changes: Unit-tests with Samba and Windows 2003 have been passed,
including permissions (ACEs/ACLs). New right strings for Samba were added.
An smbAuthException after pasting files was fixed. New options to remove
makeZip, extractZip, and downloadAsZip buttons were added to the
configuration file.

About: InteLib is a library of C++ classes which lets you do Lisp
programming within your C++ programs even without any additional
preprocessing, without all those calling conventions. You can write code
which is accepted by a C++ compiler while thinking in a "Lisp mode", and
the code you write will look much like Lisp code, although it will be pure
C++.

Changes: The most visible difference in this release is that the InteLib
Reader class has been reimplemented. This caused major changes to its
interface. The new version of the class doesn't require the SStream object
at all; the main operation mode is to feed the object with chars, one by
one. This will hopefully allow NILL to support the GNU readline library.
The class is now more accurate in diagnostics and line counting. This
version includes the LREDUCE function, which was unintentionally missing
from the past releases, and reimplements the ISQRT function.

About: IP-Array is a Linux iptables firewall script written in bash. It
allows the creation of precise, stateful rules, while remaining easy to
configure. IP-Array supports VPN, traffic shaping (creation of custom HTB
and SFQ qdiscs, classes, and filters), multiple external interfaces,
multiple LANs, multiple DMZs, NAT, logging, MAC address matching, packet
marking, syslog logging, and various sysctl settings. It also includes
some presets and autoconfig options for common needs like DNS, FTP, SMTP.

Changes: Code cleanup was performed. Runtime speed was improved. Some bugs
were fixed. Iptables iprange match was added. Rule configuration now allows
shorter rule entries and more loose rules. Additional minor improvements
were done.

About: ipsvd is a set of Internet protocol service daemons for TCP/IP
(optionally SSLv3) and UDP/IP. A daemon waits for incoming connections on
a socket; for new connections, it conditionally runs an arbitrary program
to handle the connection. The daemons can be told to read and follow
pre-defined instructions on how to handle incoming connections; based on
the client's IP address or hostname, they can run different programs, set
a different environment, deny a connection, or set a per host concurrency
limit. ipsvd can be used to run services usually run by inetd or
tcpserver. Normally the daemons are run by a supervisor process, such as
runsv from the runit package.

Changes: This version introduces a new sslsvd SSLv3 TCP/IP service daemon.
sslsvd integrates the sslio program into tcpsvd, so that initializing the
SSL session and reading the SSL key and certificate no longer need to be
done for each incoming connection, but only once on startup of the service
daemon.

About: kchmviewer is a CHM (Winhelp) files viewer written in Qt/ KDE. It
can be build as a stand-alone Qt-based application or a KDE application.
The main point is compatibility with non-English CHM files, including most
international character sets. It has the features set of standard viewer:
search (including non-English CHMs), bookmarking, font size changing,
index/content browsing, codepage support, and more.

Changes: This release adds a "locate in content window" button to look up
the currently-opened topic in the content window, an application icon, and
i18n calls to allow complete internationalization. It fixes showing
images-only pages. The content tree parser is now bullet-proof. In full
screen mode, the menu bar and status bar are now hidden. Internal build

About: Msort is a program for sorting files in sophisticated ways. Records
need not be single lines. Key fields may be selected by position, tag, or
character range. For each key, distinct exclusions, multigraphs,
substitutions. and a sort order may be defined. Comparisons may be

ISO8601 timestamp. Optional keys are supported. Msort uses the Unicode

structure. The wiki in itself is easily themeable (same capabilities as
