About: Alex's Firewall ByPasser is another TCP tunnel for HTTP proxies. It
has been tested for MSN Messenger, emule, BitTorrent, FTP (passive only),

and Mac OS X. It should work under all POSIX complaint systems and all
proxies allowing HTTPS CONNECT. It features a multi-threaded design,
multiple proxies, the ability to check proxy lists, a curses interface, a

About: APSR is a network testing tool designed to send and receive
arbitrary network packets. Its main purposes are firewall, security,
routing, and a lot of other tests. It can also be used to analyze your
network. The project is split into three main programs: apsend to create
and send packets, aprecv to dump the network traffic, and the apsrlib
which provides the appropriate low-level functions. A very wide range of
protocols are supported by the aprecv program. The application layer is
implemented through modules using a simple API. Modules can be written in
Perl, Ruby, C, or PCL (a special-purpose packet construction language).

Changes: A lot of compilation problems have been fixed and the code has
been cleaned. Some (Free)BSD-specific bugs have been fixed. No new
features have been added. Users are advised to upgrade to this release.

About: MathTables is a program that helps parents teach their children how
to use the four basic math operations: addition, substraction,
multiplication, and division. It can print sheets full of math operations
for children to answer. It can also print corresponding sheets with the
solutions so that either the parents or children can work on the
corrections. MathTables is not an interactive program. MathTables simply
prints well formatted math tables for the child to solve at the dining
room table with a pencil.

About: Nautilus Actions is an extension for Nautilus, the GNOME file
manager, which allows you to configure programs to be launched on files
selected in the Nautilus interface. Each time you right-click on one or
several selected files in Nautilus, Nautilus Actions will parse its

If one has been set, it will add an item to the menu that allows you to
execute the program on the selected files.

Changes: The layout of Nact has been changed to provide a usable interface
on small resolution screens. Nact allows a configuration to be duplicated
to ease the creation of several similar actions. Some grammar and spelling
errors have been fixed. The default "Manage Actions" action has been
removed from the popup menu. Nact is now only accessible from the desktop
preferences menu. The configurations list is sorted alphabetically in
Nact's dialogs. More than twenty language translation have been added or
updated. Lots of other minor bugfixes were made.

About: YAFPC-Appliance is a CD-ROM image based on KNOPPIX technology and
the PDF composer/printer/mailer YAFPC. Any PC booted from this CD can act
as a PDF print server and provide an unlimited number of network shared
virtual PDF printers. The system requirements are low. System
configuration can be done via a Web browser from any workstation in your
network. Virtual shared printers can be configured to apply letterheads,
watermarks, and appendices to all printed documents. After printing, a
document is sent to its owner by email, or can be accessed in a shared
folder on the server. Deployment is very simple.

Changes: The timeout for automatically removing documents from user home
directories can now be setup from 1 minute to 9999 minutes. The "ntpdate"
command is now used for system time syncronization to avoid rejects from
Windows domain controllers.

About: Podalyzer scans one or more Web server log files, extracts entries

generates a report based on those entries. In addition to reporting the
number and size of downloaded files, it generates a number of graphs

module is installed) a breakdown by country.

Changes: The download counting heuristic has a better idea of what

About: SPMS and syspatch are a useful tools to apply OpenBSD patches to a
collection of OpenBSD hosts where you don't want to have a compiler and
the src hierarchy, nor spend the time needed to compile some sources. SPMS
and syspatch are designed for admins who have more than one OpenBSD box to
administer, who work in teams, and don't want to spend time on repetitive
tasks. In case of trouble, you can revert on an applied patch. It will not
mask the process of OpenBSD patching, since you still have to build errata
on a buildhost and understand what is patched.

About: SWAMP is a workflow processing platform in which the workflow is
designed in an XML based language in one file which is read by the SWAMP
server. It avoids hardcoding business logic, and workflows can be built
from different workflow "patterns" like simple actions, decisions,

a Web GUI from the workflow definition file that guides users through the

About: TunaPie is a directory browser for Internet radio and TV streams.
At present, it uses the shoutcast server, but compatibility with other
services is planned. Tunapie allows you to search for streams and then

About: Urwid is a Python library for making text console applications. It
has many features including fluid interface resizing, support for 8- bit
and CJK encodings, standard and custom text alignment and wrapping modes,

interface for creating HTML screen shots.

Changes: Initial support for UTF-8 encoding was added, and a new layout

displaying UTF-8 characters with the curses_display module only works if

structure allows arbitrary reordering and positioning of text segments.

About: Web Performance Analyzer is a Web performance tool that allows
designers to measure, analyze, estimate, and track Web page performance.
It is available as a standalone program and an Eclipse plugin. WPA
captures Web pages as you browse and reveals dynamic HTTP requests,
forwards, and other low-level details that aren't visible from a browser.
But unlike other simple protocol sniffers, WPA can tell you if your Web
pages are getting faster or slower by replaying recorded sessions and
comparing the current performance to previous measurements.
