About: Aeskulap is a medical image viewer. It is able to load a series of
special images stored in the DICOM format for review. It is able to query
and fetch DICOM images from archive nodes (also called PACS) over the
network. The goal of this project is to create a full open source
replacement for commercially available DICOM viewers. It is based on
gtkmm, glademm, and gconfmm and designed to run under Linux. Ports of
these packages are available for different platforms. It should be quite
easy to port It to any platform were these packages are available.

Changes: Support for lossy image compression was added. User-defined
window-level presets can now be defined. Some major bugs have been fixed.

About: anyfs-tools allows you to recover and convert filesystems while
using minimal extra disk space. Unlike other recovery tools, anyfs-tools
doesn't copy all the files found on other disks (or partitions), but only
saves information about the location of the file blocks to an external
inode table. After recovery, a user may mount the damaged filesystem with
anyfs and the external inode table and then interact with all recovered
files with any program.

Changes: 2 bugs in build_it were fixed: the first appeared on filesystems
that didn't return the correct f_files value in the statfs structure. The
second bug appered another filesystem was mounted in the filesystem tree;
using the f_fsid field of the statfs structure in Linux is bad idea. The
anysurrect-plugins(3) manual page with anysurrect API descriptions was
added.

About: Avidemux is a graphical tool to edit videos. It can open AVI,
openDML, MPEG, Nuppelvideo, and BMPs. Most common codecs are supported
(M-JPEG, MPEG, DivX, Xvid, huffyuv, WMA, etc.) thanks to libavcodec and
libmpeg2. Video can be edited, cut, appended, filtered
(resize/crop/denoise), and re-encoded to either AVI (MPEG4/MJPEG) or MPEG
1/2. The Spidermonkey Javascript engine is used to give powerful scripting
capabilities.

Changes: SVCDs and DVDs at 23.976 fps were built with bad pulldown flags.
A workaround was added to unpack badly packed xvid bitstreams. The
production of AVI files unplayable by Windows Media Player and Totem was
fixed. A computation of audio length for mpeg2 cut was fixed. A UI was
added for the mplayer logo remover. Some subtitle enhancements were made.
A crash for some 3gp/mp4/mov files was fixed. Multiple audio tracks are
supported for 3gp/mp4/mov. faad is properly initialized when sbr is used
in 3gp/mp4/mov. Handling of bframe in 3gp/mp4/mov was improved. ffv1rec
was fixed. lavcodec was updated.

About: bit is a library that makes it easier to dynamically manipulate
data buffers containing fields that do not have octet (byte) boundaries.
An example is the IP header, which is generally dealt with at compile time
via bit fields in a structure. A key feature of the bit library is support
for loading data formats described in XML files and dynamically parsing
those fields at run time. This library was initially created to support
reading various kinds of robotic device I/O (IR sensors, motors), but it
has also been used for run time parsing of IP, TCP, UDP, and RTP headers.

Changes: Mainly cleanup and restructuring changes were done. These include
a long overdue cleanup of configure.in and associated files. The
documentation now installs into $prefix/share/doc/bit-{version}.

systems. It has been developed to promote a standard printing solution for
all Unix vendors and users. CUPS provides the System V and Berkeley

About: Fityk is nonlinear curve-fitting and data analysis software. It
allows data visualization, separation of overlapping peaks, and least
squares fitting using standard Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, a genetic
algorithm, or Nelder-Mead simplex method. It only knows about common
bell-shaped functions (Gaussian, Loretzian, Pearson 7, Voigt,
Pseudo-Voigt, EMG, and Doniach-Sunjic) and polynomials, but more
sophisticated formulae can be easily added if necessary. It also enables
background substracting, data calibration, and task automation with a
simple script language. It is being developed to analyze powder
diffraction patterns, but is also used in chromatography,

Changes: A simple menu interface was added for controlling game parameters
such as world selection and key configurations. The default key for
quitting is now M-q. A game can be aborted to start a new one. The speed
selection is finite. Some bugfixes were made. The original resolution
should be restored after full screen mode. A snake bend bug (rotating from
backward to right) was fixed. Mac OS X binaries are now available.

Changes: mod_perl2 is now supported as well as mod_perl1. Memory footprint
when browsing or viewing revisions that affected a huge number of files has
been greatly improved, in some cases by tens of megabytes. A stand-alone
Web server is now included, making it much easier to try out the interface
without making any changes to your primary Web server. The majority of
errors are now caught and display friendlier (and localised) error
messages.

etc. There are many Matrix classes providing specializations for different
sparse matrices. They all feature a similar interface. TBCI comes with an
extensive set of solvers for linear systems and an interface to lapack
libraries. It uses the temporary base class idiom, which avoids
unnecessary copying of data by having a notion of real and temporary
objects which are treated differently with respect to assignment and copy
c'tor.

Changes: This is a maintenance release that adresses some of the loose
ends of 2.5.1. Most prominently, when using the SSE2 support, it now
handles unaligned data gracefully. Other enhancements include the support
for SuperLU3 (SuperLU2 is still supported), better doxygen documentation,
and various little bugfixes and (mostly) cosmetic improvements.

the MyTournament page. This upgrade is recommended for all users,
especially for the non-admin bugfix.

About: The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a highly scalable, secure
two-factor authentication system consisting of a server, a token client,
and network clients that connect a service such as a VPN or Web page to
the WiKID server to validate one-time passcodes. The user enters their PIN
into the token client, where it is encrypted and sent to the server. If the
PIN is correct, the encryption valid, and account active, the one-time
passcode is generated, encrypted, and returned to the user. It is simple
to implement and maintain, allows users to be validated automatically,
requires no hardware tokens, has a simple API for application support via
a COM object and Java component, supports multiple domains, and supports
replication for fault tolerance and scalability.

Changes: This is a beta release of the WiKID Firefox extension. It
requires FF 1.5+,Java. The extension uses semantic Web technology. When on
a WiKID enabled Web site, a WiKID icon will appear in the lower right hand
status bar. Clicking it will invoke key generation for first time users,
the site/domain registration process for unregistered users, or a PIN
entry box for registered users. Once the PIN is entered, the one-time
passcode is automagically entered into the password field. The WiKID token
supports multiple WiKID domains, eliminating the need for a token
'keychain'.
