About: BEJY is a modular server application. It is packaged, by default,
as a Web application container and mail server with SSL. It has
functionality similar to inetd, and has some helper classes/functions to
ease the implementation of new protocols. It provides a generic
multithreaded TPC/IP server implementation with optional SSL support,
covering the complete connection and thread management. Each supported
service provides its protocol implementation. The current version comes
with HTTP, SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocol implementations. The HTTP
protocol implementation also contains a servlet engine, a JSP 1.2 engine,
a handler to invoke CGI, and other useful things. The mail protocols
require a database using JDBC, as MySQL, MSSQL, and others.

Changes: The main focus of this release is the new admin console, for
better usability, better navigation, and a new mail config wizard that
guides you through mail setup and also supports the migration from bejy
1.3.x.y to 1.4.1.58. More details are visible, such as the status of
active servers and scheduled tasks. The recovery of lost email or
importing from Unix mailboxes is now possible.

About: Calcurse is a text-based personal organizer which helps keep track

Changes: All-day-long events were added. Together with this feature
enhancement, GUI improvements were made, such as scrollbars and progress

About: Linphone is an Internet phone with a GNOME and a console interface.
It let you make two-party calls over IP networks such as the Internet. It
uses the IETF protocols SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTP

communicate with other SIP-based Web phones. With several codecs
available, it can be used with high speed connections as well as 28k
modems.

Changes: Some compilation issues with gcc-2.95 have been fixed, among
various little bugs. The most important fix was made for "early-media" SIP
calls which were completely broken.

About: MIB Views is an entry-level SNMP management application providing
an easy to use tabbed interface with several SNMP tools. The tools are
based partly on those bundled in MIB Smithy, with a more consolidated GUI
and new features. The suite includes MIB Browser (Tree View), SNMP Query,
Table View, SNMP Walk, and Trap Watch tools, with more tools and plugin
features in the works. MIB Views supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMPv3,
with MD5 and SHA authentication and DES encryption.

Changes: Some usage and unknown command errors resulting from the previous
merge with the MIB Smithy code base were fixed.

About: nwcc is a small C compiler for Unix systems. It currently only
generates NASM 80x86 code for FreeBSD and Linux, and doesn't feature any
software development support beyond plain compilation. It can compile
itself correctly now, though there are still too many bugs for general
use.

Changes: Inline assembly language and long long support have been improved
significantly, and various GNU C features were added. As a result of these
and other improvements, nwcc can now compile itself correctly on FreeBSD,
and is generally more robust.

About: PyGNUGK is a command line tool, a CGI script, and a set of Python
classes available as a Python module, which can connect to GNU
Gatekeeper's status port and return information about what's there. It can
currently report the list of registered endpoints and ongoing calls.

Changes: The GNUGK Python class now exposes all commands available from
GNU-Gk's status port as methods. This way, a GNU Gatekeeper can be
completely controlled from any Python program. A test program is now
included to demo these features. When the CGI script is protected through
Apache's authentication mechanism, the HTML view exposes links allowing
the disconnection of active calls and endpoints, and the unregistration of

djbdns. It cooperates with the djbdns package to publish dynamic IP
addresses authenticated through POP connections. On successfully
authenticated POP connections, the tinydyndns-update program manipulates
tinydns' constant database "data.cdb" directly without rebuilding it; this
makes the dynamic DNS solution use very few system resources. Using a POP
service for authentication saves the work for installing special client
software, since POP clients are available for every common network-aware
operating system. To provide the DNS and POP service, tinydyndns
cooperates with djbdns, qmail, and cvm.

About: white_dune is a graphical VRML97 editor, simple NURBS/Superformula
3D modeller and animation tool. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language)
is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins

interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can
read, create and display VRML97 files and let the user change the
scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via
"quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like
a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
