About: aircrack-ng is a set of tools for auditing wireless networks. It's
an enhanced/reborn version of aircrack. It consists of airodump (an 802.11
packet capture program), aireplay (an 802.11 packet injection program),
aircrack (static WEP and WPA-PSK cracking), airdecap (decrypts WEP/WPA
capture files), and some tools to handle capture files (merge, convert,
etc.).
Changes: Two bugs in airmon.sh were corrected and a small change was made.
A missing word was included for aireplay's -j option. The madwifi-old patch
was updated to SVN r1475. The makefile was cleaned up and a typo in
pcap2ivs was corrected.

About: The GtkDatabox widget (for use with the GTK+ widget set) is used to
display large amounts of numerical data in graphical representation.
Several sets of data may be shown at one time. You may zoom in and out and
navigate via scrollbars. The display of data is rather fast, so you can use
the widget for quickly changing data (i.e. an oscilloscope for example) as
well. The widget has already been adapted to several scientific projects
around the world.
Changes: Inconistencies in the interface have been removed. Displayed data
and miscellaneous graphs (coordinate cross, grid, etc) are now represented
as objects of a new graph class (or derived from this class). The widget
is not a composite widget anymore. Scrollbars and rulers can still be
associated with the widget, but not as integral parts. This makes
accessing the display area much easier, and makes several old functions
superfluous.

It uses "mysqldump" for dumping mysql databases to the files sytem. It was
written with automated usage in mind. For example, it is silent during
operation, and only produces noise on errors/problems. It rotates backups

administrator is on vacation (or is lazy).
Changes: Using a MySQL configuration file ~/.my.cnf is now the recommended
way to hide passwords from the process table. A new configuration file

About: renattach is a stream filter that can identify and act upon
potentially dangerous e-mail attachments. It's a highly effective way of
protecting users from harmful mail content (virii and worms) by disabling
or removing attachments that may be accidentally executed by the user. It
is written in pure C and can quickly process mail with little overhead.
Unlike a conventional virus scanner, there are no specific virus or worm
definitions. Instead, it identifies potentially dangerous attachments
based on filename extension and on encoded body content. It can be used
from within sendmail, postfix, procmail, or pretty much anywhere else.
Changes: A MIME parser bug where some headers were incorrectly sanitized
was fixed. Support for using "#" to suppress new_extension was added. The
build scripts were fixed to handle getopt properly, so the FreeBSD port
now builds without modification. Note that the software has been
discontinued, so sites using renattach should switch to a different
security system.

About: Restlet is a framework that brings the simplicity and efficiency of
the REST architectural style to Java developers. It is composed of two
parts, the Restlet API (alternative to Servlet API) and a reference
implementation (Noelios Restlet Engine). It supports all REST concepts
(resource, representation, data, connector, components, etc.) and is
suitable for both client and server REST applications. The server
connectors provided are HTTP(S), AJP (via Mortbay's Jetty or an adapter
Servlet) and the client connectors are HTTP(S), JDBC, and SMTP (via
JavaMail).

About: The SMS Server Tools (smstools) were made to send and receive SMS
from one or many GSM modems. They include a send/receive daemon and some
sample scripts to build an SMS email gateway and for logging into an SQL
database. The daemon waits for files in an outgoing spool directory and
sends them. It puts all received SMS in an incoming spool directory, and
can call any external program for incoming or outgoing notification. This
software support text messages in 7 and 16 bits (UCS2), as well as 8 bit
binary messages.
Changes: Bugfixes: The installation script creates basic spool
directories. Smsd does not ignore report=yes in the config file anymore.
Config file options are also detected if they begin with capital letters.

Eclipse. It aims to provide the tools required to go from requirements to
