About: 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons Character Generator is an
HTML/JavaScript Web page that allows the user to quickly and easily create
new Dungeons and Dragons characters. The characters can be of any of the
eleven classes, any of the playable races, and may start at any level from
1 to 220. Generation requires some simple input, after which the character
is displayed on a basic character sheet. It allows you to select your
starting stats, add ability points, and pick skills, equipment, feats, and
spells. It runs on most operating systems with most modern browsers.

Changes: The license (GNU GPLv2) has been clarified, and some output has
been checked.

computers. It is based on a client/server architecture and is efficient
and relatively easy to use, while offering many advanced storage

Changes: The Bacula source code is now copyrighted by the Free Software
Foundation Europe. Disk seek code has been added for restores. The client
now returns its version string, and whether or not VSS and encryption are
used.

About: Bartlby is a network and system monitor, completely written in C,
to provide a scalable framework with the ability to monitor networks of
various sizes. It consists of a core daemon, several plugins, and a Web
GUI (PHP extension). The core daemon checks (over active/passive TCP)
services/hosts and notifies users in case of critical service conditions
(mail, SMS, ICQ, and custom triggers are supported). Bartlby provides an
open plugin interface to give every administrator an easy to use option to
extend the plugin base, and a fully customizable GUI (written in PHP using
a C extension). Nearby everything can be controlled via an XML interface.

Changes: A lot of fixes/changes to boost the performance, especially on
larger setups. Many things in the UI have been re-made using xajax. The
agent now has a new protocol, and optionally supports SSL.

About: BASH Debugger provides a patched BASH that enables better debugging
support as well as improved error reporting. It also contains the most
comprehensive source code debugger for BASH that has been written. It has
been used as a springboard for other experimental features (such as a
timestamped history file), since development is maintained openly and
developers are encouraged to participate.

Changes: Some bugs were fixed and some of the features from the 3.1
branch (e.g. the debugger commands "signal", "complete", "cd", and pwd")
were merged in.

was added to turn water on and off in the colors for macronutrients. A
third text filter was added (to exclude text). Convenient buttons were
added for changing food increments/decrements. More work was done on

About: Esperantilo ("Tool for Esperanto") is a UTF-8 editor with
linguistics functions for the language Esperanto, and is also a system for
computer aided translation. It contains a spell checker and grammar checker
for the Esperanto language. It can translate Esperanto text in different
formats into Polish, German, and English. It also supports computer aided
translation by interactive machine translation. Translation memory can be
used also for any language pairs. It is an XLIFF editor. It supports XLIFF
and TMX (Level 1) formats. Machine translation uses direct translation at
syntax level (dictionary-based translation with some grammar
transformations).

Changes: Esperantilo now offers a small browser for free Esperanto
REVO-lexicon. Esperantilo can now also use Hunspell as a spell checking
engine, so it offers suggestions for misspelled words. Therefore,
Esperantilo can now use dictionaries from the OpenOffice.org project and
also spell other languages beside Esperanto. Esperantilo now includes a
browser for statistical frequency database of word usage in phrases.
Machine Translation and syntax analysis was improved for several cases.
Some new linguistic analysis was added.

than the stock pdb.py debugger. It supports a "restart" command,
non-interactive POSIX-like line tracing, command options, disassembly of
instructions, and stack traces that give better information for exec

to follow gdb's command set unless there is good reason not to.

Changes: Several bugs have been fixed. There are additional features to
make it play nice with the upcoming release of ipython. There are some

memory required for loading and saving a game have been reduced.
Transmissions of large network messages are more efficient. Savegame sizes
have been reduced. Autosaving has been added as an optional feature. A new
menubar border has been added. Many other bugs were fixed.

About: GNU `tar' saves many files together into a single tape or disk
archive, and can restore individual files from the archive. It includes
multivolume support, the ability to archive sparse files, automatic
archive compression/decompression, remote archives and special features
that allow `tar' to be used for incremental and full backups. It also
includes `rmt', the remote tape server (the `mt' tape drive control
program is in GNU `cpio').

Changes: This is a maintenance release. It fixes some potential security
problems and provides several new features, including a new option
--exclude-tag to specify "exclusion tag files", i.e. files whose presence
in a directory means that the directory should not be archived. The
--exclude-cache option excludes directories that contain the CACHEDIR.TAG
file from being archived . Support for reading ustar type 'N' header
logical records has been removed.

limit saving/restoring process was fixed. Now the panel spy icon
background color of the current main tree view selected spy is updated
along with the tree view selection. All icons were updated (it looks much
better now). The GConf schema file target was changed.

About: Herrie is a command line music player. It has a split-screen file
manager and playlist interface and supports a number of file formats (MP3,
Ogg Vorbis, wave, FLAC, etc). It also has some nice features, including a
chroot() function for untrusted setups (remote logins, parties, etc).
AudioScrobbler is also implemented using Curl.

Changes: Some new features were added, but some existing features have
been improved. Randomizing the playlist is a lot faster now (linear
instead of quadratic). The "c" button allows you to change directories by
entering the full pathname. When entering the pathname (or entering a
search query), you may now use the ^W and ^U buttons to remove a single
word or the entire sentence. Herrie now uses a lot less terminal I/O
during playback, which saves a lot of network traffic when using Herrie
through SSH/Telnet/etc.

About: HTTP client is a PHP class to make HTTP requests. It can submit
requests via a proxy server and establish secure connections (HTTPS) with
optional SSL client certificates. It supports HTTP authentication
mechanisms like HTTP Basic, HTTP Digest, and NTLM (Windows or Samba). It
submits POST requests with user-defined form values, file uploading, or
with user-defined request bodies. It handles cookies and automatic
redirection handling. There is an addon class to log in to Yahoo and
execute actions on behalf of the user, like exporting the address book or
sending invitations to Yahoo groups.

Changes: The automatic redirection was fixed to handle sites that may
return multiple location headers in the same redirection response.

About: The OpenDBX library provides a unified and consistent API for
software developers to different database management systems. The function
library is written in the C programming language and aims at implementing
access to the native database interfaces efficiently via a thin

About: Tremstats is a easy-to-use tool for server admins to create game
statistics for Tremulous servers. The parser runs on the command line or
can be executed through cron. It parsed the games.log of Tremulous,
pre-calculates some important data, automatically fetches level shots and
map names out of the PK3s, and puts everything into a MySQL database. It
also supports some command line arguments for manual usage at startup. The
output is very simple. It runs with PHP as template engine, so you can
easily change the entire layout. For small changes you may only change the
CSS file. For the output of the graphs, JPGraph is used.

About: VTD-XML is a next generation XML parser that goes beyond DOM and
SAX in terms of performance, memory, and ease of use. Currently, it only
supports built-in entity references (" &amps; ' > <). Other features
include XML indexing (due to inherent persistence of VTD) and incremental
updating. Its memory usage is typically between 1.3 to 1.5 times the size
of the XML document.

About: wzdftpd is a modular and portable FTP server, which supports SSL,
IPv6, multithreading, and external scripts. It uses Unix-like permissions
and ACLs, with virtual users and groups. It also supports bandwith
limitation (per user, per group, or globally), group administrators, and
per command authorization.

Changes: The most important change is the migration to cmake (although it
is not mandatory; autoconf is still supported). Some bugs were fixed to
avoid problems with data connection on timeout, or when a file is
overwritten by a smaller one. This release adds support for BNC (using
IDNT) and events WIPE and PREWIPE.

About: XML_PullParser moves the API of the PHP XML facility from an
event-based model to a token-based model. Instead of processing data as it
is passed from the parser to callbacks, a script using PullParser requests
"tokens" from XML_PullParser_getToken() and a number of helper functions.
Tokens are arrays representing XML structures, which become available in
the order in which they appear in the document being parsed. Methods are
provided both to get tokens and to extract their data.

Changes: This release fixes a bug in XML_PullParser_getText, and enhances
its functionality with the addition of a new parameter that enables more
control over return values when this function is passed an array or
tokenized array to be searched for data. Its behavior should now be fully
consistent with the extensively updated documentation for the method.

About: The Yana Framework is a component framework for developing PHP
applications. It can be expanded with your own plugins (components). It
includes skin and template support, multiple languages (German and English

for version 2.8.6, solving a problem with the length() function of the
