About: Activity Manager is a project management tool that is simple to
use, lightweight, and very efficient and customizable. It features
collaborators repository administration, tasks repository administration,
contributions management (activity management), and an extensible report
facility (with built in templates). It allows you to build and maintain a
hierarchical task tree. It is based on a database with a very simple model
that allows quickly building custom reports through the report facility or
through simple SQL requests.
Changes: A task search feature, a task selection history in the task
chooser popup, a column sort feature on the collaborators tab, an
activation feature for durations and collaborators, and a contribution sum
for each day were added. Automatic refreshing is done on the contribution
tab for duration, collaborator, and task modifications. A comment column
was added in the tasks tree tab. Tasks' code paths were added in the
contributions list popup. The SWT/JFace graphic library was upgraded from
3.1 to 3.2.

About: The Ascii2Binary project consists of two complementary programs
that convert between textual and binary representations of numbers.
Ascii2Binary reads input consisting of textual representations of numbers
separated by whitespace and produces as output the binary equivalents. It
is useful for generating test data and linking programs that generate
textual output to programs that require binary input. Binary2Ascii
converts binary numbers to text. In both programs, the type and
size/precision of the input or output is selected using command line
flags.
Changes: The -s flag, which reports the numeric types available and their
sizes, is now auto-configured so that types such as long double that are
not available on all systems will be reported if they are.

About: BasKet Note Pads is an application that provides several baskets
into which the user can drop all sorts of notes: rich text, links, images,
sounds, files, colors, application launchers, and more. Objects in the
baskets can be edited, copied, and rearranged. This application can be
used to quickly store Web objects (such as links, text, or images) or
notes, and it can also help clean up a clutered desktop. It is also useful
for collecting information for a report. The data in baskets can be shared
with co-workers by exporting them to HTML.
Changes: Interroperability has been enhanced: you can save a basket with
its sub-baskets into one file to send it to another person, or use it on
another computer. Exporting to HTML now also exports sub-baskets too.

About: GNU ddrescue is a data recovery tool. It copies data from one file
or block device (hard disc, cdrom, etc) to another, trying hard to rescue
data in case of read errors. GNU ddrescue does not truncate the output
file if not asked to. So, every time you run it on the same output file,
it tries to fill in the gaps. The basic operation of GNU ddrescue is fully
automatic. That is, you don't have to wait for an error, stop the program,
read the log, run it in reverse mode, etc. If you use the logfile feature
of GNU ddrescue, the data is rescued very efficiently (only the needed
blocks are read). Also you can interrupt the rescue at any time and resume
it later at the same point.
Changes: This is a maintenance release. Some changes to the "configure"
script have been made. The "sddrescue" target, which builds a statically
linked ddrescue, has been added to the Makefile.

About: L7-filter is a packet classifier for Netfilter that identifies
packets based on application layer (OSI layer 7) data. This means that it
is able to classify packets as HTTP, FTP, Gnucleus, Kazaa, etc.,
regardless of ports. It complements existing matches that classify based
on port numbers, packet length, TOS bits, and so on. Combined with Linux
QoS, it allows for full layer 7 packet shaping.

About: Rsyslog is an enhanced multi-threaded syslogd. Among other
features, it offers support for reliable syslog over TCP and RFC 3195,
writing to MySQL databases, fully configurable output formats (including
great timestamps), and the ability to filter on any part of the syslog
message. It is designed as a drop-in replacement for stock syslogd and
thus able to work with the same config file syntax. Of course, some
enhanced features require changing the config file, but in general, this
should be fairly easy.
Changes: Rsyslog now supports on-the-wire compression of syslog messages.
Conformance to upcoming IETF syslog standards has been increased, and
experimental support for syslog-transport-tls framing has been added. The

About: Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher
level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements
and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type
parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object

solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of

About: Simplebackup is a cross-platform backup program. It reads a
configuration file, then it builds a compressed file for each of your
backup directories or files on your backup list, and places the compressed
files into another location. For example, this location can be a network
mapped drive in Windows, an NFS mounted drive in Unix, another hard disk,
an FTP server, an SFTP (Secure FTP) server, an HTTP (WebDAV) server, one
or more email accounts, or a tape device (Unix only). This will duplicate
your information, doing the so called "backup".
Changes: This release adds backup and restore support for SFTP (secure FTP
/ SSH2) and HTTP DAV. Full restore restructuration, resulting in a huge
improvement of the restore system. Real synchronization mechanisms across
different servers can now be created, even across different operating
