About: Bitgate Server Software Environment aims to build a multi-protocol
environment in which server protocol handlers can be eventually loaded and
unloaded on the fly using a center console or controller Web page. It aims

About: Decimail Webmail 3 is an email application written in Javascript.
It is almost entirely client-side, and so has the potential for a rich and
responsive user-interface. The server-side requirement is a Web server, a
simple IMAP-to-HTTP proxy, and any IMAP server; this should result in
lower server load than some CGI Webmail applications. The code is still
relatively new and is not yet suited to widespread deployment.

Changes: This release adds support for auto-completion of email addresses
in the message composition window. This is achieved in the style of Googe
Suggest, with completions coming from the server in real time using a new
IMAP extension. Currently only Decimail Server supports this extension,
but it is hoped that other IMAP applications will adopt it in due course.

About: ExactImage is a fast C++ image processing library. Unlike
ImageMagick, it allows operation in several color spaces and bit depths
natively, resulting in much lower memory and computational requirements.
Some optimized algorithms operate in 1/20 of the time ImageMagick
requires, and displaying large images can be as fast as 1/10 of the time
the "display" program takes.

Changes: The image and codec class were largely rewritten to allow
on-the-fly decoding and reuse of compressed data for transformations. The
JPEG codec was adapted likewise to support lossless orthogonal rotations,
X/Y axis flipping of the image data, and writing the unmodified
coefficient on pure meta-data change. The orthogonal rotation was manually
optimized for 2 and 4 bit per pixel, as well as the bi-linear scaler for
more bit-depths. The JPEG loader was fixed to accept non-JFIF streams.
Edentify now displays the image codec, and more functionality is exported
in the SWIG bindings.

About: The GLIPS Graffiti editor is a cross-platform SVG graphics editor
based on Batik and developed by ITRIS. It features shape tools
(rectangles, circles, ellipses, lines, polygons, and polylines), path

intersection), basic text support, and image import (SVG or Bitmap).
Supported transformations are translate, resize, rotate, and skew. A

implementation. The reset test was changed so that it doesn't create
output with inconsistent line endings in the case of a DOS mailbox. A bug

About: ServerKit helps developers quickly build efficient, scalable, and
uniformly configured, installed, and executed server programs (commonly
known as daemons) for Linux. A core server program handles configuration
parsing, database connection pool creation, and switching of users.
Application-specific shared object modules are loaded at runtime and
access the configuration data and database connection pools via simple
well-defined interfaces. A library that provides the server program with
most of its functionality, in addition to implementing a rich API for
quick module development, is included. The API includes abstraction of
thread pools, delayed work management using epoll, database connection

Changes: Libserver reader-writer locks now possess the capability of

About: SystemRescueCd is a Linux system available from a bootable CDROM
that provides an easy way to perform administrative tasks on your
computer, such as creating and editing the partitions of the hard disk or
backing up data. It contains a lot of system utilities (such as parted,
partimage, and fstools), and basic programs (such as editors, midnight
commander, and network tools). It also includes GParted, a Partition Magic
clone that makes editing partitions easy with its graphical user interface.
This CDROM aims to be very easy to use and accessible to everybody, and it
also provides advanced personalization features.

Changes: testdisk was updated to 6.5, sys-fs/ntfs3g beta was updated to
20070102, and ntfsresize was updated to 1.13.1.1 (for win-vista). The
"doeject" option was added to eject the disc at boot time. cryptsetup-luks
and several admin tools were added (specifically cmospwd, magicrescue,
install-mbr, sysstat, hddtemp, and ide-smart). A new terminal, mrxvt, was
added. Oscar, a French tool to backup computers, was added. Support for
hardware and support for keymaps (fr_CH and speakup) were improved.

are HUMANAGE() (which returns the age in years relative to a custom date or

About: VRaptor 2 is a Web-based MVC and IOC framework based on many
frameworks and ideas (Seam, Stripes, Webwork, Hibernate Annotations, etc).
It makes full use of Java 5 Annotations. It favors convention over
configuration, because configuration in XML/properties/annotations is
always easy to make mistakes and repetitive (aka copy and paste in many
places). This framework uses a more imperative approach, instead of having
many XML files to configure lifecycle and other properties. Most of the
settings go inside plain Java objects (POJO), so the team knows exactly
what is going on and where.

Changes: This versin comes with minor changes, bugfixes, and a site
update.
