About: Velocity is a Java-based template engine. It permits anyone to use
the simple yet powerful template language to reference objects defined in
Java code. When Velocity is used for Web development, Web designers can
work in parallel with Java programmers to develop Web sites according to
the Model-View-Controller (MVC) model, meaning that Web page designers can
focus solely on creating a site that looks good, and programmers can focus
solely on writing top-notch code. Velocity separates Java code from the

About: The Big Faceless PDF Library is a Java class library for creating
PDF documents. The Extended Edition offers the ability to create and edit
AcroForms, PDF's answer to the HTML form. Like HTML forms, PDF forms can
contain text boxes, radio buttons, and can call JavaScript functions. The
Extended Edition also includes a PDF reader for importing and editing,
along with FDF support, verification for digital signatures and text

About: Bitgate Server Software Environment aims to build a multi-protocol
environment in which server protocol handlers can be eventually loaded and
unloaded on the fly using a center console or controller Web page. It aims
to have 99.9% uptime, and have high-availability (Java 6) compliance. It
is written in Java 5, and relies completely on Java's I/O functionality to
provide non-blocking support for both SSL and non-SSL sockets
(transparently). All configuration is done via XML files, as this is
easier to maintain. It includes a minimal demonstration HTTP server.

Changes: Changes in this release include updates to the Clustering
functionality of the code, improved stability in other parts of the code,
and referencing of clustering objects in the protocol code by name. A
heartbeat detection script was added to Clustering as well as host
entries. The Clustering code was updated to contain a more useful set of
interface members. ClusterInterface was combined with the Clusterable
object for easier use in the dynaloaded code.

About: Boxtream is both an audio and video encoder and streamer and an
assembly of audio and video hardware, forming a mobile video streaming
studio. It is designed to easily record and stream live presentations

distance learning students. It supports Extron video switchers (Kramer

Changes: An input field was added to the GUI to ask for a mandatory
copyright message which will be used during the video fade-in and also
during the video-fadeout if no video title was defined. The copyright
message is also saved into the recording's XML description file. The GUI's
status bar now displays the encoding backend's available disk space and
estimated available recording duration based on the recording's hard disk
bandwidth. A dump of the English help for the backend and frontend was
added to the current Web site.

About: The Enhanced TightVNC Viewer package is part of the x11vnc VNC
server project. It provides a native VNC viewer that takes advantage of
new features in x11vnc, e.g. cursor alpha blending and automatic SSL
tunnelling. Some features apply to any VNC server, e.g. automatic SSH
tunnelling. Another goal is to provide a package that conveniently bundles
everything needed for the user to have the enhanced viewer running quickly.
This includes pre-built binaries of the viewer and utility programs for
Windows and many Unix variants, and a GUI to configure and launch the
viewer. The short name for this project is "ssvnc", for SSL/SSH VNC
viewer.

Changes: The GUI now includes a "Fetch Cert" button to allow retrieval of
the server's SSL certificate and, after your manual verification, use it
and save it in VNC connection profiles. For the Unix TightVNC viewer, the
following Ultra VNC extensions are now supported: Single Window, 1/n
Server Side Scaling, Text Chat, and Server Input Control. Also added to
the Unix viewer are grey scales for the low color modes, and there are
fixes for painting errors when X backingstore is not available.

About: FFTW is a fast C FFT library. It includes complex, real, symmetric,
multidimensional, and parallel transforms, and can handle arbitrary array
sizes efficiently.It is typically faster than other freely available FFT

About: Fityk is nonlinear curve-fitting and data analysis software. It
allows data visualization, separation of overlapping peaks, and least
squares fitting using standard Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, a genetic
algorithm, or Nelder-Mead simplex method. It knows about many functions
(mostly bell-shaped, like Gaussian, Loretzian, Pearson 7, Voigt,
Pseudo-Voigt, and Doniach-Sunjic) and user-defined functions can be easily
added. It also enables background substracting, data calibration, and task
automation with a simple script language. It is being developed to analyze
powder diffraction patterns, but is also used in chromatography,

About: The flat assembler is a fast and efficient self-assembling 80x86
assembler for DOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. It supports all
8086-80486/Pentium instructions with MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, and 3DNow!

of the behavior of KeyJnote is controlled by command line switches.
KeyJnoteGUI gives you control over the most widely used switches. Now you
can watch cool presentations without using the command line.

About: Madwifi provides a Linux kernel device driver for Atheros-based
Wireless LAN devices. The driver presents the WLAN card as a normal

compatible with the Wireless Extensions API, which allows a Madwifi device

with errors. With no configuration, petardfs takes a base filesystem and
exposes it through FUSE. An XML configuration file is used to tell
petardfs which files to report errors for and what error code to use. For
example, foo.txt can have an EIO error at bytes 34 to 37. There is
explicit support for errors such as EAGAIN and EINTR, where petardfs will
only report such transient errors a nominated number of times. This is
handy for testing applications that support such I/O conditions

About: Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher
level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements
and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type

solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of
