defined using the C preprocessor. It allows you to define linked lists of
arbitrary types very easily. You also can use these lists as stacks or
queues. You can easily define complicated types like a list of lists. It

functions for filtering and so on. The list includes detailed
documentation in texinfo format.
Changes: A constructor/destructor feature was added for easier memory

About: Freedup eliminates duplicate files using links and thus reduces the
amount of used disk space within one or more file systems. Freedup searches
all provided file system trees for identical files and links them together.
If the devices differ, a symbolic link is used, otherwise a hard link by
default. Many options allow you to modify the file comparison, the linking
behavior, and the output. The input is either taken from external pipe
input or from an internally generated pipe using find.
Changes: The interactive mode was redesigned to behave like fdupes (with
-ni, identical files are printed in groups together). Interactive mode
also allows you to delete some, to hardlink some, symlink others, and to
leave other identical files unchanged. For each set of identical files,
individual decisions are necessary. Several bugfixes were made in the
comparison functions and in set determination. Those bugs had not been
reported so far, but resulted in misbehaviour if one of the options -pugd.
Freedup also does not fail on files that disappear during execution.

About: Gambatte is an accuracy-focused, cross-platform Game Boy and Game
Boy Color emulator. It is based on hundreds of corner case hardware tests,
as well as previous documentation and reverse engineering efforts. The core
emulation code is contained in a separate library back-end (libgambatte)
written in pure platform-independent C++. There is a GUI that uses
Trolltech's Qt4 toolkit (gambatte_qt), and a simple command-line SDL
front-end (gambatte_sdl). The GUI front-end contains platform-specific
extensions for video, sound, and timers.
Changes: This release adds significant sound emulation accuracy
improvement, made possible because of reverse engineering efforts by
blargg. Blargg also made some discoveries in the DAA opcode, as well as
the flag calculation of some CPU opcodes, and the CPU emulation code has

it several features previously exclusive to the Qt frontend. The Qt
frontend now supports the customization of DMG palettes, per ROM and

About: The MirBSD Korn Shell (mksh) is an actively developed successor of

has no limit on array sizes, and incorporates some other useful builtins
and features. While being already fast and small (without losing
functionality), flags to make it even smaller can be given at compile
time. An interactive shell reads "~/.mkshrc" on startup.
Changes: Fixes were made in mirtoconf (the build system), so symbol
declaration checks no longer try to link and certain integer types
(uint64_t, u_long, etc.) are no longer required. In mksh, using pipelines
as co-processes is now possible without requiring an additional subshell
invocation. In mksh, array indices are now unsigned 32-bit integers;
negative values are mapped into the upper half. This release incorporates
build fixes for arc4random.c on AIX and further code size optimizations.

About: Sudo (su "do") allows a system administrator to give certain users
(or groups of users) the ability to run some (or all) commands as root
while logging all commands and arguments. Sudo operates on a per-command
basis, it is not a replacement for the shell.
Changes: This release goes back to to using TCSAFLUSH instead of TCSADRAIN
when turning off echo during password reading. A configure bug that was
preventing the addition of -lutil for login.conf support on FreeBSD and
NetBSD has been fixed. A configure check has been added for struct
in6_addr, since some systems define AF_INET6 but have no real IPv6
support.

About: The sysstat package contains the sar, sadf, iostat, mpstat, and
pidstat commands for Linux. The sar command collects and reports system
activity information. The statistics reported by sar concern I/O transfer
rates, paging activity, process-related activites, interrupts, network
activity, memory and swap space utilization, CPU utilization, kernel
activities, and TTY statistics, among others. The sadf command may be used
to display data collected by sar in various formats. The iostat command
reports CPU statistics and I/O statistics for tty devices and disks. The
pidstat command reports statistics for Linux processes. The mpstat command
reports global and per-processor statistics.
Changes: The option -w was added to pidstat (pidstat can now display task
switching activity). A memory leak that was triggered when reading stats
for threads has been fixed in pidstat. A bug where device names were

that provides an easy way to perform administrative tasks on your

commander, and network tools). It also includes GParted, a Partition Magic

common OSes/architectures were fixed.
