About: activeQuant (formerly known as CCAPI) is a financial engineering
and financial application library for Java. It provides interfaces for
automated stock exchange trading through IB. Additionally, it provides
functions to retrieve online data from various sources: IB, OpenTick, and
Yahoo. It provides a comprehensive library of technical and mathematical
indicator implementations, like MACD, SMA, EMA, RSI, Williams %R,
Correlation, and more. It also has a Matlab interface.
Changes: This release supports the ability to scan various market
instruments to see if a hammer pattern is present, which can indicate a
falling market. AnalysisKit has been expended in its ability to analyse
and process data. Necessary data for this component is provided by the
HistoryDownload application, which retrieves and stores tick-level data in
various formats, e.g. MySQL 5 and Derby DBs via hibernate. The Charting
Trading Browser is another new feature that is based off of this increased
database functionality. Overall, 2,000 small changes were placed.

About: aria2 is a utility for downloading files. It has completely new
design concept from its predecessor, Aria, and is written from scratch.
aria2 has a segmented downloading engine in its core. It can download one
file from multiple URLs or multiple connections from one URL. This results
in very high speed downloading, much faster than ordinary browsers. This
engine in was implemented in a single-thread model. The architecture is
clean and easy to extend. aria2 currently supports HTTP, FTP, and
BitTorrent. It also supports Metalink version 3.0.
Changes: This release adds HTTP/FTP/BitTorrent integration, the ability to
detect Metalink/torrent file based on the content type, a fast Metalink XML
parser, translations for Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, Italian, Spanish,
and Swedish, and many more features. Please note that this release cannot
resume downloads of previous versions of aria2 and vice verca.

About: butt (broadcast using this tool) is an easy to use, open source,
multi-OS tool that grabs audio data from your sound card (line-in, CD,
wave, etc.), encodes the PCM data into MP3/OGG, and sends it to a
streaming server. ShoutCast and IceCast are supported.
Changes: Recording runs in its own thread now. This means that your
recording will not mess up if you have connection problems. You can even
record without being connected to a server. Status symbols were added to
the display. You can make your password visible by clicking the button to
the right of the password field.

reaction time and pulse. It uses a contact platform suitable for two

simulator that can be used if you don't have the hardware.

About: ckkl-core is a collection of Java classes developed for personal
projects and research. Its implemented features include but are not

players) from nearly any video format. It only uses Python 2.4, MPlayer,
Mencoder, DVDAuthor, VCDImager, and mkisofs, so it has very few
dependencies.
Changes: Compatibility was improved by using CGOP and SC_THRESOLD. A GOP
of 15 frames is now used instead of 18 when creating a NTSC, 24fps disc,
as the standard dictates. A bug in the Italian translation which prevented
the "Not enough disk space" message from being shown was fixed.

thin wrapper that provides the ability to define model objects following
the Active Record design pattern, and using a DSL syntax similar to that

credit memos. It embeds OpenOffice.org and utilizes either the HSQLDB or a
separate MySQL installation.
Changes: Firefox integration has been prepared. Gnuaccounting now allows
for importing from Karm (the time tracker) and exporting to Winston (the
German electronic tax declaration). The "export accounts" feature now
supports periods, and cross platform rendering has been improved. When
creating a transaction, it's now possible to choose a date. The template
designer now allows a signe template for header, items, and footer. Bugs
were fixed in Moneyplex import and in the accounting logic. A workaround
was found for a very old bug in the template designer. Performance when
reading XML files was increased.

About: Greylite is an implementation of a modified greylisting technology
for fighting spam on mail servers running qmail. It does not require qmail
to be patched, but is simply plugged in to the top of the qmail chain, thus
working smoothly with already-patched installations. It is self-contained
because it uses SQLite, and is easy to setup and maintain, small, and
fast.
Changes: Suspicion now supports a manifold of rule types: regex, envvar,
geoip. Policies can be defined with respect to external modules and with
respect to the origin of the client.

About: GtkDatabox is a widget for the GTK+ library designed to display
large amounts of numerical data quickly and easily. It allows for one or
more data sets of thousands of data points (X and Y coordinates) to be
displayed and updated in split seconds. It offers the ability to zoom into
and out of the data, and to navigate through your data by scrolling. In
addition to rulers and a simple coordinate cross, it allows you to add one
(or even more) configurable grids like on an oscilloscope. Data may be

About: PyEphem provides scientific-grade astronomical computations for the
Python programming language. Given an arbitrary date and location on Earth,
it can compute the positions of the sun, moon, and planets as well as any

separation between two objects in the sky, determining the constellation
in which an object lies, and finding the times at which an object rises,
transits, and sets on a particular day.
Changes: This release provides functions for finding the phases of the
moon, and has a modest database of world cities so that people living in
them can avoid having to type in their longitude and latitude manually for
location-specific operations. Some constants omitted from the previous
version are back, and extensive documentation has been added about the
different flavors of coordinate that PyEphem bodies make available when

also included.
Changes: This version provides about 30 bugfixes, together with a set of
new features, including a huge reduction of needed memory, new

Scannedonly was developed because of scalability problems with
samba-vscan. Scannedonly comes in two parts: a Samba VFS module and (one

About: SRESI is a smart bookmark manager. It currently sports both a
command-line and a PHP interface. It works with both the standard
hierarchical trees and the new and fashionable tagged bookmarks. It was
developed as a way to interface both representation systems. SRESI can use
Del.icio.us, Mozilla, Opera, and XBEL bookmarks, and handles a few more
exports besides. Directories and tags are used equivalently, and the final
hierarchies are inferred from actual tag use.
Changes: The missing paths bug has been fixed. The Tag interface was
simplified. Tree and Portal have been fused into a Hierarchy functor.
Trees can now distinguish between hint-based branches and free ones.
Neither portal nor actual output use this at this time.

About: Pak transfers multiple, possibly very big, regular files between
possibly different hosts you have shell access to. It transmits segment
IDs instead of file names and uses on-the-fly Blowfish-CBC encryption
while being absolutely restartable with practically no loss of data
already transmitted. Encrypted pak streams can be stored in intermediary
regular files on untrusted hosts. Several stored pak streams, even
truncated ones, can be merged for re-piping without decryption. Integrity
is never checked. File offsets of any magnitude are supported via
recompilation (the default width is 64 bits). Either UNIX 95 or UNIX 98
conformance is required and sufficient.
Changes: The programs "pak" and "pakmerge" were modified to flush stdout
before printing "segment done" messages to stderr. ("Paksplit" and "upak"
already did this for output files.) This way, whenever the user sees a
"segment done" message, she can be sure that even the last chunk of the
segment was passed to the kernel via write().
