About: Buddi is a simple budgeting program targeted for users with little
or no financial background. It allows users to set up accounts and
categories, record transactions, check spending habits, etc.
Changes: Much more powerful budgeting capabilities were implemented. You

multiple budget periods (e.g., Month, Quarter, Week, etc) for different
budget items. Many improvements were made to the user interface and the UI
architecture. The backup/restore interface was completely rewritten. A new
plugin API was included. It models the actual data much more closely than

About: check_logfiles is a plugin for Nagios which checks logfiles for
defined patterns. It is capable of detecting logfile rotation. If you tell
it how the rotated archives look, it will also examine these files. Unlike
check_logfiles, traditional logfile plugins were not aware of the gap
which could occur, so under some circumstances they ignored what had
happened between their checks. A configuration file is used to specify
where to search, what to search, and what to do if a matching line is
found.
Changes: More options have migrated from the configuration file to the
commandline. A bug has been fixed, so very large files can now be handled.
The new macros $CL_PROTOCOLFILE$ and $CL_SERVICEPERFDATA$ have been added.

About: Freedup finds and eliminates duplicate files by linking them, and
thus reduces the amount of used disk space within one or more file
systems. By default, hardlinks are used on a single device, symbolic links
when the devices differ. A set of options allows you to modify the methods
of file comparison, the hash functions, the linking behavior, and the
reporting style. You may use batch or interactive mode. Freedup usually
only considers identical files, but when comparing audio or graphics
files, you may elect to ignore the tags.
Changes: The major bugfix concerns the (n+m) assertion. Checks were
implemented so that no endless loops with the extra style mp4 should
occur. A minor one is to read and write the environment variable
"globalkey" (-k) as letter not as ascii code. Please note that you have to
correct existing environments manually. The new feature that lists the
existing environments should help you on that.

About: The Perl HL7 Toolkit provides a simple but flexible Perl toolkit
for using the HL7 protocol. The toolkit consists of a Perl API for
manipulating HL7 messages, an implementation of a pluggable forking HL7
server for developing HL7 capable applications in Perl, and a queue daemon
for polling non-HL7 queues, like database, filesystems, etc., and
translating messages in these queues into HL7 (and vice-versa).
Changes: This release adds an important security fix to prevent execution
of arbitrary code, a small documentation fix, and a removeSegmentByName
method.

a compressed image file. You can plot up to 12 series. It uses a simple
ASCII options file and runs from the console/terminal and also has a
simple Win32 GUI. The core code is ANSI C with C++ encapsulation for ease
of use.

About: redland-bindings provides high-level language bindings for the
Redland RDF C libraries, allowing full access to the C APIs along with
enhancements for individual languages. It currently provides bindings in

Changes: All the bindings were synchronised with the Redland RDF Library
release 1.0.7. The deprecated Tcl, Java, and C# bindings were removed.
Exception throwing was added to the PHP binding, and URI filtering added

About: Rsyslog is an enhanced multi-threaded syslogd. Among other
features, it offers support for reliable syslog over TCP and RFC 3195,
writing to MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, fully configurable output
formats (including great timestamps), the ability to filter on any part of
the syslog message, and on-the-wire message compression. It is designed as
a drop-in replacement for stock syslogd and thus is able to work with the
same configuration file syntax. Of course, some enhanced features require
changing the configuration file, but in general, this should be fairly
easy.
Changes: This is a maintenance release. The most important change is that
GSS-API support for sending TCP messages has been moved to a separate
output plugin. This is an important forward-compatibility option for
rsyslog v3. This resulted in some configuration file changes. The release
also fixes a number of minor bugs. It is a recommended update for all
users.

GUI. At the push of a button, it can generate a .te file in the
/root/segatex directory. You can then edit your .te file, make a module,
and install. You can make any module name and also edit present modules.
You can install, update, and remove the modules.

About: sptrace is a LKM designed to give administrators more control over
the ptrace() call. It limits users' access to the ptrace() call. It can
disable ptrace altogether, or if you add a ptrace group to your system,
only users in that group will be able to use ptrace().
Changes: This version was adjusted to reflect changes in Linux, and was
tested with kernel 2.6.23. Support for the 2.4 line is still there, but it
is no longer tested.

About: The trading-shim is a database driven connector API that provides a
persistent store SQL backend database, translates operations to and from
the Interactive Brokers Java TWS API. It can act as an interpreter for
commands, and permits downstream clients to access several worldwide

About: Wackamole is a tool that helps with making a cluster highly
available. It manages a bunch of virtual IPs that should be available to
the outside world at all times, and ensures that exactly one machine
within the cluster is listening on each virtual IP address that Wackamole
manages. If it discovers that particular machines within the cluster are
not alive, it will almost immediately ensure that other machines acquire
the virtual IP addresses the down machines were managing. At no time
will more than one connected machine be responsible for any virtual IP.
Changes: Win32 compilation has been fixed. Operation on Solaris for
ethernet devices with numbers in their device name (like e1000g) has been
fixed.
