(MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite). It uses a template system and supports
multiple languages. It features BBCode and HTML tag support, a bulletin

smilies support, "submit" and "send" news functions, unlimited news
organized into unlimited categories, and user management.

Changes: The GNU General Public License version 3 was adopted. The German
language was added. The blumar template was fixed. admin/users.php now has
a section for deleting users and the way the users list is displayed was
modified (with images) and is now similar to categories. In
includes/function.php, cut_text() was fixed to take HTML entities into
account in string length. The way users are counted was improved. In
includes/session.php, the way sessions are handled was improved, garbage
collection was fixed, and the session period was modified.

About: glibmm is a set of C++ bindings for glib, including cross- platform
APIs such as a std::string-like UTF8 string class, string utility methods,
such as a text encoding converter API, file access, and threads.

Changes: The new giomm library was added. format() was added. In
Glib::RefPtr, clear() was deprecated, being replaced by reset(). In
KeyFile, set_integer_list(), set_boolean_list(), and set_double_list()
actually work now without crashing. In gmmproc, the code refuses to
generate a wrapper for a construct-only property which is also write-only,
and a warning is displayed. Building for glib 2.15 was fixed by including
gtestutils.h instead of gmessages.h to get g_assert(). Building for
pre-releases of gcc 4.3 was fixed.

About: The GNU Talk Filters are filter programs that convert ordinary
English text into text that mimics a stereotyped or otherwise humorous
dialect. Some of these filters have been in the public domain for many
years, but here they are provided as a single integrated package. The
filters include austro, b1ff, brooklyn, chef, cockney, drawl, dubya, fudd,
funetak, jethro, jive, kraut, pansy, pirate, postmodern, redneck, valspeak,
and warez. This package provides the filters both as individual executables

About: The GTO format's primary usage is storage of static geometric data.
The types of data you might find in a GTO file are things like polygonal
meshes, various types of subdivision surfaces, NURBS or UBS surfaces,
coordinate systems, hierarchies of objects, material bindings, and even
images. It is used by film, video, and game production comanies to
streamline the modeling, animation, rendering, and 3-D paint processes.
The distribution includes source code for a RenderMan Procedural plug-in,
a Maya plug-in, a number of command line tools, a Wavefront .obj parser,
and two Python modules for reading, writing, and editing GTO files.

Changes: A new optional ASCII file format was added. The C++ reading and
writing classes were updated. The Python classes were updated. The
following Maya plugins were added: deformer, particle import/export,
particle display, and full Maya attribute handling. Houdini data can be
imported and exported. Animation curve storage was added. Exceptions were
added to the license for static linking and some other minor license
issues were addressed to make it easier to use GTO in commercial products.

About: nut is nutrition software to record what you eat and analyze your
meals for nutrient composition. The database included is the latest USDA
Nutrient Database for Standard Reference. This database contains values
for vitamins, minerals, fats, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fiber,
etc., and includes the essential polyunsaturated fats, Omega-3 and
Omega-6. Nutrient levels are expressed as a percentage of the Daily Value,
the familiar standard of food labeling in the United States, but also can
be fully customized. Foods can be added from recipes or food labels, and
nutrient intake can be graphed. The program is completely menu-driven and
there are no commands to learn.

Changes: This release changes some fatty acid defaults to allow more
saturated fat when eating low-carb, and to raise the maximum amount of
long-chain Omega-3.

a newly installed computer, as well as maintain the security of an existing

Changes: Various text alerts and advisories were polished. Since ProShield
is compatible with Debian, it was made able to recognize if it is on Debian
and not bug the users that they might be running in an unsupported
environment. Also, a missing dependency for the package resulted in the
primary upgrade method failing. A bug where it would think (incorrectly)
that both methods had failed was also fixed.

About: UIDL aims to create a scriptable, JavaScript based language for
expressing complex user interfaces. The main features of a UIDL page are
the ability to create complex user interfaces (using Swing based widgets)
and to communicate asynchronously with server based objects (using the

implementation is much cleaner thanks to the ability to natively
instantiate complex UI components within the browser and the ability to
transparently present server based objects via their JavaScript proxies.

About: vlock is a program to lock one or more sessions on the Linux
console. This is especially useful for Linux machines which have multiple
users with access to the console. One user may lock his or her session(s)
while still allowing other users to use the system on other virtual
consoles. If desired, the entire console may be locked and virtual console
switching disabled.

Changes: The fix for the previous security issue was changed slightly:
directory parts are now silently stripped from erroneous names instead of
being reported as errors. A file descriptor leak was fixed in the script
handling. A bug that could result in vlock spinning in an infinite loop if
stdin wasn't a terminal was fixed. Unit tests (using cunit) were added.

About: XAR stands for eXtensible ARchiver. XAR is a new archive format,
library, and archiver to meet modern archival needs. It can archive
Extended Attributes and ACLs for Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X 10.4 systems
and resource forks and Finder metadata on Mac OS X 10.3. XAR can extract
files using either numeric (uid/gid) or symbolic (username/groupname) file
ownerships, saving the hassle of remapping uids/gids to the correct users.
Python bindings, Cocoa bindings, and a Finder Contextual Menu Plugin are
available separately.

Changes: This release includes some build system changes to allow static
and dynamic libxar. Finer grained makefile variables are used to allow
build systems to more easily control where things are installed. Two bugs
from the rpm5 project were fixed. A bug which was triggered when xar is
processing a malformed table of contents was fixed. A bug in the
"configure" script was fixed to properly setup acl support on Mac OS X
10.5.

About: yeaGTD is an acronym for "yaml encoded approach to getting things
done". It is a script which extracts information from simple text files,
one for each project, and then produces nicely formatted summary reports.
Flexible rules can be used to specify repeated projects. Context, project,
and date views are supported and output can be filtered in a variety of
ways. Output can optionally be printed or sent to standard output in
several formats. Commands are provided for marking tasks complete, opening
files for editing, and backing up project files.

Changes: A wxPython based GUI was added. A "next" filter was added to show
next actions which are not necessarily yet "available".

About: ZoneMinder is a suite of applications intended for use in video
camera security applications, including theft prevention and child or
family member monitoring. It supports capture, analysis, recording, and
monitoring of video data coming from one or more video or network cameras
attached to a Linux system. It also features a user-friendly Web interface
which allows viewing, archival, review, and deletion of images and movies
captured by the cameras. The image analysis system is highly configurable,
permitting retention of specific events, while eliminating false positives.
ZoneMinder supports both directly connected and network cameras and is
built around the definition of a set of individual 'zones' of varying
sensitivity and functionality for each camera. This allows the elimination
of regions which should be ignored or the definition of areas which will
alarm if various thresholds are exceeded in conjunction with other zones.
All management, control, and other functions are supported through the Web
interface.

Changes: This version features a number of enhancements. The major ones
are DVR like functions for live pause and rewind of feeds or historical
events, a deep storage option to speed up file access, and accelerated PTZ
control. As well as this, there are a bunch of other improvements and
bugfixes.
