About: AgileWiki is a program that explores new knowledge representation.
It is an attempt to implement, at least in part, Norm Kashdan's Rolonic
Theory, a profoundly different approach to time and knowledge
representation. CowDb is a high-speed object store over which the next
generation of AgileWiki will be written. COODBMS is a Copy-on-write OODBMS
based on Rolonics.

Changes: The free method now frees objects gracefully. A new container
interface was introduced. Bugs in handle and container iterators were
fixed. Objects now support immutable names. Minor cleanups were made in
the sample output display.

About: Architecture Rules is a Java library that allows a programmer to
assert code's architecture via unit tests or ant tasks. This test is able
to assert that specific packages do not depend on others and is able to
check for and report on cyclic dependencies among your project's packages
and classes. This project wraps a industry accepted JDepend to simplify
the process of maintaining a solid software architecture.

Changes: The dependencies which are optional are determined. The
difference in the slashes used for pathnames in Unix and Windows is now
handled. The cycles test now runs correctly with XML configuration.

Security Standard, since customer data is no longer stored locally. It is

Changes: The error handling logic for some functions was incorrect. The

About: Cobras is a programming environment for Qt, and is written in Qt
itself. It has an integrated debugger (as a front-end for GDB), and is
very functional and helpful. It is fast and easy to use. It consists of
one binary file (plus an icon for the desktop). It does not create its own
files when working with a project, but uses only the original '.pro' file.

Changes: New control keys were implemented in the editor: Shift-Delete and
Shift-Insert for Cut and Paste. A bug in saving folded text was corrected.
A bug in starting a program with a project from the command line was
corrected.

About: Dbblast (Dust bunny blaster) is a utility that automatically
removes dust spots or "bunnies" from JPEG images taken with digital SLRs.
It can be run manually or in batch mode from either a GUI or from the
command line. It supports user configurable blasting threshholds and JPEG
image save quality, and coversion from JPEG to PNG and vice versa. Dbblast
also removes hot pixels. All EXIF data is kept in the output JPEG images.

Changes: A compiler error in exif.cpp, caused by a change in the exiv2
library, was fixed. A bug was fixed where the "Save changes" nag window
was displayed when closing a reference file, even if no changes had been
made. README-WIN-SRC.txt was updated.

About: Formulax is a small Web application which renders formulae written

About: gscan2pdf is a GUI to ease the process of producing PDFs from
scanned documents. You scan in one or several pages and create a PDF of
selected pages. Scanning is handled with SANE via scanimage. PDF
conversion is done by PDF::API2. Perl is used for portability and ease of
programming, with gtk2-perl for the GUI.

Changes: A bug where backslashes in the text layer of djvu files were not
escaped was fixed. Ctrl-x, ctrl-c, and ctrl-v now work in a text buffer.
Paper size may be chosen manually. A bug which occurred when trying to
scan a paper size larger than the scanner allows was fixed. Spaces in the
filename of an image to save are now handled properly. Options that
completely disappear or appear between modes are now handled properly. The
icons were updated. The user is prompted for confirmation when quitting if
not all pages have been saved.

About: HamExam is a short Perl script that generates self scoring DHTML
practice tests as a study aid to prepare for the US Amateur radio
licensing exam. These practice tests are generated from a random subset of
questions from a master question pool. Your score is calculated and your
grade reported using client side JavaScript. Wrong questions are
highlighted. It strives to be simple to use and very easy to install.It
should run well under Apache's mod_perl and can be used on the command
line as well. The input files use a simple XML format, so any exam that
follows the same multiple choice format subdividing question into into
categories ("subelements" in amateur radio parlance) should be trivially
adaptable.

Changes: Support was added for the latest (2008) question pool for the
"Extra" class exam. A total rewrite was done to better support images
associated with each question and to better select random samples from
within each sub-element. Some CSS enhancements were made.

About: Herrie is a command line music player. It has a split-screen file
manager and playlist interface and supports a number of file formats (MP3,
Ogg Vorbis, wave, FLAC, etc). It also has some nice features, including a
chroot() function for untrusted setups (remote logins, parties, etc).
AudioScrobbler is also implemented using Curl.

Changes: This release of Herrie has two new translations: Finnish and
Danish. There have been some optimizations to speed up large playlists.
When you press "L", you can recursively search for files. The manual page
has also been cleaned up to be somewhat more logical.

About: The LinuxSpeaks project is a collection of scripts and library
modules that aspire to be a comprehensive vocal, sight-free user interface

About: Nessconnect is a GUI, CLI, and API client for Nessus and Nessus
compatible servers. With its user interface, it provides local session
management, scan templates, report generation through XSLT, charts, and
graphs, and vulnerability trending.

Changes: The default protocol selection on connection is now TLS. Default
network and debug history size is now 9999 lines. Inconsistent plugin and
preference information is ignored with a warning. The project is compiled
with debug information for better error reporting. A serious intermittent
parsing problem when reading long lines was fixed. Minor source code and
documentation cleanup was done. Bugs were fixed.

(Internationalized Domain Names) is included. Through its modular design,
various new functions (like RSS, personal file storage, a bookmark
manager, etc.) are easily included.

Changes: Various small bugs were fixed. The ability to import and export
Outlook holiday files was added, and holidays are marked accordingly in
the calendar. Vast speed improvements were made on checking the local
cache against IMAP folders. On large folders, this can be 30 times faster
or more. AJAX communication between the frontend and server was made
faster.

About: Simple TCP File System is a FUSE (Filesystem in Userspace) based
networked file system. It consists of 2 parts: a network server daemon
that is started on the (remote) host, and a FUSE module running in
user-space on the local host. The server component is launched via SSH,
and after the client and server have communicated and created a separate
TCP connection for data transfer, the SSH link is shut down.

Changes: A critical bug in stfufs_buffer_reserve() was fixed. Buffer
under/overflow detection was added in debug builds.

About: WinShares is a Linux program that scans the network and mounts all
Windows and Samba shares available, allowing the user to browse them. It
uses CIFS.

Changes: International desktop name translations are accepted. A logfile
is optionally created. The default softlink name "WinShares" was created
in the desktop, and can be personalized by each user in the configuration
file. The WORKGROUP variable in ws.conf supports more then one domain or
workgroup. A progress bar is available. There is a new /etc/ws.conf that
can overrides ~/.ws/ws.conf. Ws now deletes every residual softlink or
folders left during an unclean shutdown. Several other improvements were
made in the code.

About: WP Clipart is an attempt to make a useful clipart package of public
domain images for use in word processors. It includes an optional
cross-platform viewer/editor written with Python/wxWidgets. The collectoin
contains non-transparent PNG images, scaled down images, midtones expanded
for inkjet print quality, etc. It is suitable for documents as well as Web
graphics, but also has business application (credit cards, promo graphics)
and educational uses (pictures of all US presidents, all country flags
alphabetically listed, all US states, historical figures, and a sign
language alphabet).

Changes: Clip art was added and the existing clip art was edited.
