About: Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language for
technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like
syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting
that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as
opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of
script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods.
High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself,
allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.

Changes: A bounding box bug in the latex texengine was fixed. The font
scaling is now rounded to the nearest integer. The wait=true argument of
shipout was fixed. The documentation of grid3 was fixed. Examples of using

reaction time and pulse. It uses a contact platform suitable for two events

Chronojump consists of free software and open hardware. It features a
simulator that can be used if you don't have the hardware.

Changes: Management of the user local database location solves problems
with bad directories and sqlite. Sounds are now available. Treeviews are
more compact and have accelerators. A problem with losing decimals was
fixed. An endless loop when destroying the window was fixed along with a
crash in when editing simulated events.

About: Manitou-Mail is a 3-part database-driven email system: a PostgreSQL

but at the application level too. Fast and shared access, fine-tuned

Plain text rendering is also much faster for long messages. The filtering

About: SQLiteJDBC is a Java JDBC driver for SQLite 3. It comes as either a
pure Java driver based on NestedVM or a native JNI library. Native binaries
are provided for Mac OS X and Windows.

Changes: The code was updated for SQLite 3.6.3. The constraints on
setMaxRows() were relaxed.

Changes: Two bugs have been fixed. Valid decimal literals (xsd:decimal)
were not accepted and locators (xsd:anyURI) were created twice. The latter
affected the integrity of the Topic Maps engine seriously.

About: Toorox is a Linux live-DVD based on Gentoo that starts as a
bootable media using KNOPPIX technology. It is designed for ease of use,
with a simple control center and a hard disk installer. It contains many
applications and uses KDE as working environment. It is multi-lingual
(German and English) and contains the unstable branch of Gentoo (~x86).

Changes: The Linux kernel 2.6.26 serves as the basis of this release. The
Xorg server has been updated to 1.4.2. New entries were added in the
hardware database for Radeon 4xxx and GeForce GTX cards. The kdesvn-portage
overlay has been deleted. The desktop-effects overlay has been added.
Almost all packages were updated.

About: Vala is a new programming language that aims to bring modern
programming language features to GNOME developers without imposing any
additional runtime requirements, and without using a different ABI compared
to applications and libraries written in C.

Changes: This release reports uninitialized local variables, unused
fields, methods, and local variables. It fixes error handling in complex
statements, improves support for generic types, supports parameter arrays
in bindings, and does not require libgee for foreach statements anymore.
D-Bus clients and servers now support enums and structs in hash tables, and
experimental static D-Bus client support has been added. Many bugs have
been fixed.

About: Vendetta Online is a multi-platform 3D space-combat MMO for
Windows, Mac, Linux/32 and Linux/64. The game permits players to interact
in a vast online galaxy; fighting, trading, and mining their way to
success. A "twitch" type real-time combat model makes true player skill the
deciding factor instead of character advancement. Massive capital-ship
battles shake the foundations of the major nations at war, while others
struggle to push back the encroachment of the AI "Hives". A no-strings free
trial is available.

Changes: Pixel shader 3 capable hardware now renormalizes normal maps at
render time. The "Renormalize Normalmaps At Loadtime" video option was
removed for Pixel Shader 3 capable hardware. Server capacity was increased.
Default video and graphics settings were changed for systems with 128MB or
more of video memory.
