About: Bigloo is an implementation of the Scheme programming language. It
relies on an optimizing compiler from Scheme to C. Bigloo enables
connections between Scheme code and C code. It proposes many extensions to
Scheme such as a regular parser compiler, an lalr parser compiler, pattern
matching, an object layer, etc.

Changes: A new mail API has been added wit support for Maildir, IMAP,
vcard, RFC 2045, RFC 2047, and RFC 2822. New compiler optimizations were
implemented. New system APIs were added, including getuid/setuid,
os-charset, socket-option, and get-protocols. New Makefiles that support
parallel compilation were provided. This version has been successfully
installed on a range of platforms.

About: Fimex is a the File Interpolation, Manipulation and EXtraction
library for gridded geospatial data. It converts between different,
extensible data formats (currently felt and netcdf). It enables you to
change the projection and interpolation of scalar and vector grids. It
makes it possible subset the gridded data and to extract only parts of the
files. For simple usage, Fimex also comes with the command line program
fimex.

Changes: Fimex now includes a module to linearly interpolate the time-axis
of the data. The new time-steps can be coarser as well as finer as the

About: FreeCC (formerly KawaDD) is parser/lexer generator written in Java.
It is a development fork of the well known JavaCC parser generator
originally developed at Sun Microsystems. It has extra features such as
"code injection" and more flexible tree-building strategies. Also, it is
far easier to customize the code the tool generates, because it uses
FreeMarker templates that can be tailored for one's needs.

Changes: A major bug was fixed where FreeCC would not work on many
grammars that contain case-insensitive token matching. The
Node/Token/BaseNode API was rounded out and cleaned up. The MULTI option
now generates subclasses of Token as well as BaseNode. An introductory
tutorial (still incomplete) has been added. Many out-of-the-box defaults
have been changed. Code generated by the tool Generated code now requires
JDK 1.5.

About: G4L is a hard disk and partition imaging and cloning tool. The
created images are optionally compressed, and they can be stored on a local
hard drive or transferred to an anonymous FTP server. A drive can be cloned
using the "Click'n'Clone" function. G4L supports file splitting if the
local filesystem does not support writing files >2GB. The included kernel
supports ATA, serial-ATA, and SCSI drives. Common network cards are
supported. It is packaged as a bootable CD image with an ncurses GUI for
easy use.

Changes: busybox 1.13.2 and syslinux 3.73 pre 7 were included. Applets
were cleaned up. updcast was updated. The kernel was updated to version
2.6.27.10, and 2.6.28 was added. chkldd was added for checking libraries.
Programs were moved to match with the location on Fedora 8. Fedora's dd and
gzip are now used again because of speed issues. grub4dos is used to run
g4l from NTFS partitions. An option to use the run="command" from grub was
added to g4lmenu.

About: gWaei is a Japanese-English dictionary program for the GNOME
desktop. It is made to be a modern drop-in replacement for Gjiten, with
many of the same features. The dictionary files it uses are from Jim
Breen's WWWJDIC project and are installed separately through the program.
It features easy dictionary installation, support for searching using
regular expressions, streaming of results so the interface is never frozen,
and a simple interface that makes sense.

Changes: There is a new libsexy dependency that allows spell checking in
the search entry. The documentation has had a large overhaul. The help
manual is a bit more complete, and the README gives better install
directions. The grey highlighting was a bad idea in 0.12.0. A bug where
some users could not type into the search entry was fixed. This is the
first version to have PPC RPM and deb packages.

About: httpry is a specialized packet sniffer designed for displaying and
logging HTTP traffic. It is not intended to perform analysis itself, but
instead to capture, parse, and log the traffic for later analysis. It can
be run in real-time displaying the live traffic on the wire, or as a daemon
process that logs to an output file. It is written to be as lightweight and
flexible as possible, so that it can be easily adaptable to different
applications. It does not display the raw HTTP data transferred, but
instead focuses on parsing and displaying the request/response line along
with associated header fields.

Changes: The program now parses all standard request methods by default,
and has a new -m switch to allow the selection of which methods to parse.
There are also a number of less visible improvements to make the structure
and output more consistent. Two new plugins were added to the included log
parser to provide additional options and examples.

About: The Xataface DataGrid Module is an add-on module for the Xataface
application framework that adds an editable grid component to your
applications. It uses the Ext JS JavaScript library to create the grid. It
allows users to edit records, add new rows, sort rows, reorder columns,
show/hide columns, and toggle to full-screen mode. Changes are
automatically saved in the background by AJAX. The module is fully
integrated into the Xataface permissions system.

About: Yahoo BBAuth is a class for authenticating users with Yahoo!
accounts. It generates a URL in an Yahoo! site that the users must visit to
authenticate and authorize your site to have access to Yahoo! Web services
on behalf of the authenticated user. Once the user authenticates and
authorizes the site, the class retrieves credentials that can be used to
send Web service requests to different Yahoo! APIs on behalf of the
authenticated user.
