There was some talk in February, following a CERT advisory, about the problem with ongoing /bin/mail vulnerabilities on SunOS systems. Some people said that Sun was going to supply a follow-on patch (to 100224 and 101436), which would actually work. Anyone know if Sun ever issued this patch, and if so, if it actually does work? Anyone know if a patch will also be issued for Solaris 2.x?
