As you will recall the icmp-fix for Windows NT 4.0 seems to fix the IP fragmentation bug demonstrated by the teardrop program. At the same time Microsoft released the Windows NT hotfix they released a Windows 95 update file, VIPUPD.EXE (Vip.386 version 4.0.956). Could someone install the update for Windows 95 and test the machine against teardrop to determine if this fixes the problem on that platform? I dont currently have access to any Windows 95 machines. You can obtain VIPUPD.EXE by following the link at the bottom of the Knowledge Base article Q154174 at: http://premium.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q154/1/74.asp Aleph One / aleph1dfw.net http://underground.org/ KeyID 1024/948FD6B5 Fingerprint EE C9 E8 AA CB AF 09 61 8C 39 EA 47 A8 6A B8 01
