- There is an identd with "Real Security" if you use kerberosIV. You
can find it at
http://www.stanford.edu/~bbense
- It is also called sidentd. I think it's also secure in the limited
sense that it does not have buffer overflow attacks. There's a draft
rfc that describes the protocol, it's included in the doc section
of the distribution. It's in the drafts section as
draft-morgan-ident-ext-04.txt
if you just want to read the rfc.
