As you may know by now that mIRC script was a trojan. A very badly written and mangled one at that. The dumbass that posted it even tried to post a corrected version later on. This drives home a point I hope everyone is well aware of. Do not execute binaries or applies patches to software obtained from unknown sources unless you can understand what the software does or are doing so in a sacrificial machine. I attempt to review any such software or patches posted to the list but make no guarantees that the software does not contain trojans or that I even reviewed it at all. Specially when it involves something as worthless as IRC software. Caveat emptor.
