Description:
mod_dosevasive is a module for Apache 1.3 giving Apache the ability to
detect and fend off request-based DoS/DDoS attacks and brute-force attacks
conserving your system resources and bandwidth. mod_dosevasive can be
configured to communicate via commandline with ipchains, firewalls, or any
other such managed device to stop the attack at the network layer.
Changes:
Version 1.6 incorporates syslog support on top of the existing email and
commandline mechanisms for reporting/managing events.
