I had to email the following person directly to find out any information
about my test : SMartin@SMTorg.com

He was very responsive and helpful.

Hope this helps - and good luck on your test!

Klear,

Not to pick nits... but your numbers seem suspect to me. Since the test
questions range in value from 2 to 4 points each, it's difficult to say you
only have to get 50% of the questions right, and then guess on the
remaining 50%. In fact, you're more likely to get the easy (2-point)
questions right, and then have to guess correctly on the remaining (mostly
4-point) questions.

I haven't taken the test yet - I'm supposed to tomorrow (in Portland) but I
can't seem to get ISC2 to get the info to me - but heck, I've only been
trying for the last three weeks. At this late date it's unlikely I'll be
able to get a hotel room and will have to re-schedule for another date -
and eat the price of an airline ticket to Portland, OR. Thanks ISC2.

Greetings -

If your objective is to pass the CISSP exam, then:

1.  Recognize that to get a score of 75%, you only need to nail 50% of the
questions & eliminate 2 of the 4 choices in the rest.
2.  Use ISC's "CISSP Certification Common Body of Knowledge Study Guide" &
Rao Vallabhaneni's "CISSP Examination Textbook".
3.  Create a matrix w/ the things you are unfamiliar with, (e.g.
encryption / authentication / integrity / repudiation / ... vs.. RSA, DES,
Kerberos, SHA...) and memorize it.  The first thing upon exam inception
write down the matrix & reference it during the test.

Of course gaining true expertise is a little more involved!!
