From my experience leave at least 4-6 weeks between the seminar and the
exam. I spent a LOT of time studying after the CBK Seminar. A lot of
people forget that the the ISC course is called a "Review" seminar for a
reason - the information is not supposed to be new but a review of the
topics in the CBK. That review is cursory and for me the main value was in
understanding the scope of the knowledge I needed to focus on in my own
study.
All the best.

I'm scheduling the ISC^2 seminar for several people, and I've been given
differing opinions as to when we should take the test relative to the
seminar. One opinion is that the test should be taken within a couple of
days so the information is fresh, and the other is that we should wait a
month to be sure and cover topics we might be weak on. I hadn't asked this
group, and thought your opinions worthy.
