Hi Gang,
I know that this is not strictly a CISSP education question but I'm looking
for some help.
I have to do a "quick and dirty" internal software inventory on our in-house
production network. The primary focus is on the x86 Windows Everything OS.
Because most of the applications on this platform are Microsoft, I have to
tried to download the Microsoft Software Inventory Analyzer but it has been
removed from its official WEB page.
Unfortunately all the commercially available applications are in the
$5000-$10.000 US range so I cannot justify this expense as a one time shot.
At a later point we will implement a more permanents solution, but for now
we need the result by the end of the week! Just to make my life happy. ;-)))
Any suggestions?
Cheers.
Attila
