Mark,

I can only personally recommend the eight day course done by the ISC2
institute, since that's the one I attended. Everyone I talked to in the
class had very positive comments. I would say it's worth your while to take
the longer course--but that's just my personal opinion.

The other suggestion I would have for you is to leave some time (I have
often heard as short as two weeks or as long as a month) between the end of
that course and your test; you will probably be glad to have that time for
review. This is not a suggestion you'll get directly off of the ISC2 web
but again most people I have talked with tended to feel that way.
