Scott,
Years ago, while I was serving on the ISACA Foundation Board, I attended an
annual meeting in New Orleans. ISACA had a program where they invited the top
scorers on the CISA exam to attend the annual meeting at their expense. They
introduced these to the group with great fanfare. In this particular year, the
expense was much higher than usual because the three top scorers were all from
New Zealand. Indeed, they were all from the same study group.
All of this is by of endorsing your effort to support study groups and the
efforts of those leading them. Study groups are effective in general. They are
particularly effective in the CBK where the whole issue is what we know in
common.
Thanks for your efforts.
Regards, Bill
William Hugh Murray, CISSP
Director, (ISC)^2
Chairman, Committee on the CBK
