I tried to study (read cover to cover)
Vol 1 of the Vallabhaneni series and found it to be poorly written inconsistent, and convoluted.
Vol 2 of the Vallabhaneni series (tests) absolutely was confusing and was full of very poorly written questions.
I am going to go test tomorrow and have great confidence since I found a better book for study.
Just off the presses is "The CISSP Prep Guide" Wiley by Ronald L. Krutz and Russell Dean Vines
I had difficulty getting the book since it is so new (Aug. 24) but was well worth it once I was able to purchase it.
Most of the concepts are clear in my head now and if I am going to dick with confusing questions I would rather do so during the test with clear understanding of the concepts than buy muddling through trick and convoluted questions Vol 2 of the Vallabhaneni series.
Just my opinion. I found it immediately available in hard bound from http://shop.barnesandnoble.com/Booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?sourceid=0000413123&ean=9780471413561
Amazon had it listed but was not yet available.
Anybody want to buy my used copy? :-)
