The standard itself is pretty much self-explanatory and can be ordered
on-line from:

There are also many localized versions that are pretty much identical in
many other countries. In sweden we have SIS-66799 which is almost
identical to BS7799. Check for one in your country.

There are two documents in the standard. The BS7799-1 contains the
things you should implement, while the BS7799-2 is based on requirements
around the same standard. Ythey can/should be used together. Therere are
also software products that you can use to work with the standard.
