    It really depends on your job situation.
    Personally Im working on my GSEC for now then plan on doing the CISSP in a
    couple of years. I'm a network security officer for a large server farm. My
    job is more technical, running the IDS, Firewall, honeypots etc.
    I feel the CISSP is more geared for people in upper mangement of IT security
    (paper warriors and policy writers)- ISO and higher, where the GSEC is more
    for senior technical people (guys that still touch the gear).
