So I guess this implies that if you've ever been to DefCon or one of the
other many "Hacker" cons, you probably will need to explain why it was
that you were there...

I guess my situation is even worse though, as I have given presentations
at "hacker" cons (anyone who is in security and hasn't is missing out on
a GREAT resource for learning more about security as well as making
contacts with other security professionals)...which means I have in fact
been publicly identified with hackers and hacking...
