    TLSTART.EXE TLODMA32.DLL TLSETUP.EXE
    TLBTNBAR.OCX CFCIOS32.DLL TLSPL32.DLL
    INFOMAN.EXE TLCONV32.OCX TLADDR32.OCX

    INSTALLATION NOTES:

The user should have administrator rights before installing
    TeamLinks V4.5 ECO#1.

Note: If the user runs the TeamLinks V4.5 Setup program after installing
this ECO kit,ECO#1 will have to be re-installed to patch the newly
          installed binaries.

The ECO Kit consists of two files, the cover letter "TMWE0145CVR.TXT"
    and a self-extracting archive file "TMWE0145.EXE". The self-extracting
file expands into four files, DISK1.EXE, DISK2.EXE, DISK3.EXE and
DISK4.EXE that are also self-extracting. After expansion, install the
ECO by running the SETUP.EXE file included on the kit.

Note that the multiple DISK files serve to break the kit up into
diskette-sized components so the user can distribute the ECO to individual
users on diskettes. After expansion, simply copy the contents of each DISK
directory to a similarly labeled diskette.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

1: Extract the contents of TMWE0145.EXE into a temporary directory
by performing the following tasks. If this ECO Kit has already
been extracted into a shared area, or to diskettes,

            a) Launch an MS-DOS window.

            b) Create a temporary directory (for example, C:\TLPATCH).

                    C:\> MD TLPATCH

            c) Set the current directory to the temporary directory.

                    C:\> CD TLPATCH

            d) Copy the self-extracting file TMWE0145.EXE to the temporary
                 directory

            e) Execute the self-extracting file. Be sure to include the file
                 extension in the command.

                    C:\TLPATCH> TMWE0145.EXE

The following files are created in the temporary directory:
                 DISK1.EXE
                 DISK2.EXE
                 DISK3.EXE
                 DISK4.EXE

            f) Execute the first self-extracting DISK file. The /D qualifier
is required for the creation of subdirectories.

                    C:\TLPATCH> DISK1 /D

            g) Execute the second self-extracting DISK file using the /D
                 qualifier to create subdirectories.

                    C:\TLPATCH> DISK2 /D

            h) Execute the third self-extracting DISK file using the /D
                 qualifier to create subdirectories.

                    C:\TLPATCH> DISK3 /D

            i) Execute the fourth self-extracting DISK file using the /D
                 qualifier to create subdirectories.

                    C:\TLPATCH> DISK4 /D

The ECO installation kit has been created in the sub-directories
                 \DISK1, \DISK2, \DISK3 and \DISK4 in the temporary directory.

            j) Return to the Windows operating system to install the ECO.

                 The files TMWE0145.EXE, DISK1.EXE, DISK2.EXE, DISK3.EXE and
DISK4.EXE can now be deleted, as they are no longer required.

2: Setup will determine how TeamLinks has been installed on the system and
patch the files appropriately. This would involve either of the following:

               a) Patching the Server Installation
               b) Patching the Personal Copy that has been installed from the Server
               c) Patching the Personal Copy that has been installed from the CD-ROM

          a) Patching the Server Installation

To patch the Server, the network administrator with write-access to the file
share should use either a personal copy or a shared copy of TeamLinks that
has been installed from the Server. Run SETUP.EXE from C:\TLPATCH\DISK1

o If TeamLinks has been installed as a Personal Copy from the Server then the
user will be provided with two options:

                   - "Patch all the TeamLinks files on this system"
Use this option to patch the files installed on the local machine
                   - "Patch all the TeamLinks files located on the network Server (Write Access
                     is required)"
Use this option to patch the files on the server. The patched files will
now be available for all other users. (This option requires write access
                     to the server)

o If TeamLinks has been installed as a shared copy running from the Server,
then the Server is patched without prompting the user.

         b) Patching the Personal Copy that has been installed from the Server

This can be done in two ways:

                 - Run SETUP.EXE from C:\TLPATCH\DISK1 to directly patch the files on the
                   local system.
                 - If TLVERCHK.EXE is installed on the client system, it will detect that
the server has been patched and automatically run the ECO setup program
to patch the local copy of TeamLinks when the user next logs onto the
                   system.

         c) Patching a Personal Copy that has been installed from the CD-ROM

If TeamLinks has been installed as Personal Copy from the distribution
CD-ROM then, run SETUP.EXE from C:\TLPATCH\DISK1 to patch the files on
                 the local system.
