Please note that if you have difficulties accessing the FreeBSD testdrives try this:
        1. Telnet to another Linux/UNIX system and change your password. This will push the NIS map again.
        2. Telnet to the FreeBSD system of choice again.

Should you like time on the OpenVMS GALAXY Cluster please send mail
to testdrivecompaq.com with a justification for usage.

If you will be test-driving Alpha NT please do the following:

You will need to install Windows Terminal Server Client software
following the instructions below. You must connect using a
licensed NT Workstation, NT Server or Windows 95/Windows98
client and have TCPIP access via RDP port number 3389 through
your firewall to access the test-drive system.

To Get the Client Software:

        ftp 192.233.54.68
      (use anonymous ftp)
ftp> binary
ftp> get RDP32_x86.zip
ftp> bye
   OR
        ftp://192.233.54.68/RDP32_x86.zip
        ftp://192.233.54.68/RDP32_alphaNT.ZIP

To Install the Software
Unzip RDP32_x86.zip to some temporary area
Run the setup.exe
      During setup take the defaults
        Enter username and Company
        Agree to the license agreement
        Click on the icon that states (setup will install all components)
        Click on Continue
        Click on Ok when finished

To run the software and connect to the test-drive system
Go to MS Terminal Server Client and then to
The MS Terminal Server Client submenu
You will then get a window that requests the following

        Server (192.233.54.68)
        Resolution (your choice)
        Then click on connect

Next you will get a window from the test-drive system with an
NT Login screen.... Use your Username and password provided above,
and login to the test-drive system.

Should you experience any problems accessing your Test-Drive
system please send mail to testdrivecompaq.com make sure to put
"Logon problem" in the subjet field; also inclused your username and the systems
that are giving you grief.

When you have completed your Test-Drive please visit our site
again and get your gift by submitting the survey form.
