Officials at Tennessee State University have recovered a computer storage
device containing the private financial information of more than 9,000
current and former students.

It was reported missing last Tuesday and officials announced the problem
on Friday.

School spokeswoman Cheryl Bates-Lee said Monday a student turned the
device over to a university official Friday night.

Both the student and the official were in Memphis for a Tennessee State
football game.
